Paypal.me without my real name on it?

Anyone know if there is a way to set up your paypal without your real name? As far as I know the name on your paypal has to be the same as the name on your bank account, be nice to allow for the people who want to tip me for my show or show their appreciation for the show on paypal be able to do so without them knowing my whole name. Shit....I used it for the longest time 2 years ago. Good thing I never lost that money. Is this is new thing? Why is paypal hating? Does this have something to do with THOTaudit or just IRS in general?

hmm, maybe its more about making it not look like you are receiving payments FOR sex work? I guess my question is, how are they going to know why someone gave you the money they gave you? How do you mitigate the risk if you do decide to use one of those platforms?

Salty people and/or cheap people dispute the charges with PayPal by emailing them and going "this person sold me porn!" Bam, account gone, any accounts linked to it also gone. People's significant other's accounts and family member's accounts have also been closed because of association.

Holy smokes, then I REALLY dodged a bullet, because one of the people that spent the most on personalized videos DID get salty when it wasent to his liking and asked me to redo it for 2 years! Since I came back to camming ive done all I can to block him and not let him know im back. I suppose he didnt know he could tell paypal!

Like @Luxy Reid said use them at your own risk. I would still steer clear of paypal but if you have a trusted regular taking something like google wallet or venmo could be ok but its not something id recommend. I really just hate using sites that discriminate against my job which is why I prefer directing clients to places like cmd, indiebill, or even manyvids since they started paying out 80% on tributes. Also beware that even if guys are just sending you tips or birthday/christmas present etc and not actually making a payment for goods or services your account can still be closed- a lot of people try to use that as a grey area. There have even been occasions where sex workers have their vanilla/personal accounts closed even though they have never used them for any type of work related transactions.

Years ago when I was using paypal there really were very limited payment options the ones that were available were doing a 50/50 payout. Today though I see very little reason to risk it. There are a lot more options out there and more and more sites are paying out in the 70-80% range.

This is even riskier and super inconsiderate to the rest of the world. So a friend had her account closed and she’s not a SW. she was selling holiday cookies and they said it followed a pattern of behavior related to SW. They not only shut her personal account down, but put a hold on her actual business account. They contacted her linked banks and told them they have her flagged for SW. and the bank is holding her money too! She had to use a back up account to even pay payroll because she’s been selling Christmas cookies to people.... when people try to get around a system it fucks other people over. It’s riskier because they can tell your bank and makes it harder for people to just use it as intended.
I personally do not use PayPal even in my
Personal life because they do not support SW, but that doesn’t mean people shouldn’t be able to use it because someone is trying to break the rules.

I use Paypal because it's the ONLY almost-instant money transfer option for me in NZ, and what I do is have a "dummy" account with my cam name and then I transfer the money to my real account and withdraw to my bank from there. It's worked for the almost 2.5 years that I've been doing SW but I know the risks and try not to use it unless absolutely necessary. I know doing this usually sends off red flags to their system too but it's how I hide my identity.

Again, Paypal is not adult friendly and I only use it because it's my only option.

Most of the negative reviews I read about the service were from people that did not understand how it works. It looks like senders only need your Giftly account name.
2. Use TransferWise to reload a reloadable prepaid Visa card (not all cards can be reloaded). The service is gear towards international transfers, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work between two people in the US.

I have never used either service so you will want to investigate on your own first.

I would treat carefully with using transferwise. They have something about porn in their TOS.
I use them to get paid from boleyn models, but that's payroll only. Boleyn models advised against using them for direct payments, since that seems to be against their tos.

For one yes, of course members, please tell us all about a job you don't do that we actually do. Tell us all about how so many members who have never once seen it from our side know more. This is literally as man-splainey as shit can get.

And second there are so many shit bags that convince new models that they know everything so that they can manipulate them it's sickening so even if your intentions are good don't add to this mentality that so many members know more than the models. If members actually want to help models it's best to refer them to sources that come from models like acf, Stripperweb, model blogs etc.
