Payments for cam shows on skype

Ok peeps.....I have a question. I have been a camming for a few months now and I always have guys aski if I skype. I know why they want to do this and I am open (I think) to this. My question is, How do you get paid for skype shows? I know not to use paypal. I was going to do Alterpay but I'm a little confused...I dont go by my real name and I dont want everyone to learn my real name so how do I do the pay? If I put it under my work name will I still be able to recieve my funds? Please help

When I sold skype shows, I only accepted tokens as payment. Figure out how much you want to make per minute (but remember that the show will probably run long, because guys WILL NOT let you end them if they aren't paying by the minute), and request a tip for that amount before you start the show. For example, if you want to advertise your shows as being a better deal than MFC privates, you could offer them for 50 tokens/min and let the guy decide how many minutes he wants to buy.

Skype shows are basically True Privates and guys often turn on their cams and mics, so many models charge 80 tks or more per minute. It just depends on what you're comfortable with and how many skype shows you want to sell.

I would stick to tokens, though, because it's easy, it's safe, and it helps your cam score.

That's lame of guys to take advantage of the model's time like that. I only do Skype with a couple of models I've been a reg of for sometime, and I've gotten in such a habit of watching the time I have left (from watching tokens run out on MFC), that they can usually tell on Skype that I get a bit frantic towards the end trying to wrap things up, and they've let me know not to worry about being exact. I really appreciated that unrushed feeling, and show my appreciation by never abusing it; I think I've gone over by like 2-3 minutes on one occasion.

A timer seems to be a good idea. I use an on-board computer timer for my Mac called "Cuppa"...it's for timing steeping tea, but you can use if for anything...I use it because I can't hear the microwave go off from my computer room. It allows you to change the built in audio to anything you want. I replaced it with Captain Picard saying, "Earl Gray...Hot." That would be a nice gentle sound for ending a show I think.

The main idea is it's more private and intimate (far easier to talk than type without the model needing to fiddle with settings to get the member's mic on) and it's a good way to build camscore.

Just remember, if you aren't planning on doing the show right away, then you need to talk with the tipping member and set up a time that is good for both of you. You'll still get the tokens up front anyway.

thanks for posting this, ive only logged onto mfc twice, i am normally on sm, and wanted to try mfc to have a second site when sm is slow, i found mfc a bit intimidating, to be honest lol had a LOT of guys asking for skype shows, so now i know at least that i can charge them with tokens, i assume i keep my own timer with the skype shows? and just hang up when time is up and they can tip me tokens again if they want more time? i had a topless countdown going which failed miserably lol was on for an hour had been tipped 50tk, but i did 2 privates which added up, this is a strange adjustment lol gonna take some getting used to i think

Yes, you have to time it yourself. You can choose if you hang up, or give them the option to tip right then to continue the show without hanging up. My plan (haven't had anyone want the show yet) is to figure out how to change my buzzer so it's not so bad, and have it go off a couple minutes before the end, so they can know to either finish it up or buy more time, then have the really crappy one be for the actual end of the show (the boner kill one).

BUT, I also offer skype at 40 tokens a min, minimum of 10 minutes purchased, and anything over 1000 tokens has no harsh buzzer.

And I just realized that I can use the timer on my phone for a less harsh buzzer, and the desktop stopwatch for the harsh one at the end. Woot!

Well, I did say personally. I'm sure there are models out there who never watch cams. And that's fine. I'm sure there's plenty who don't like watching, but do for the tokens. And that's fine.

But, as I said, I only know one model, personally, that says she never watches cams.

I know quite a few others who regularly turn my cam on, and I know other models turn other specific member cams on at times, too.

But, the models tend to know the member cam they are turning on as 1. a regular, 2. a repeat tipper and 3. someone when they turn the cam on is most likely not naked or trying to show them their junk. I tend to be fairly boring on cam, most of the time. Just me being me. Maybe playing video games. Maybe sleeping. Maybe typing something up. I seem to be in the minority then. I accept tokens yes but I also accept gift cards or an item off my amazon wishlist. I charge 600tk for 20min, or a $25 gift card/amazon item. It works out in their favour to go with gift cards because it is technically cheaper, though I get the same amount of money either way. I also started charging for my Skype name for 'chatting purposes only', though I don't really go on my model skype account anyway.
