Out of curiousity...

This is a random one, but I was flicking through threads and saw one that was asking about the amount of time getting ready...
Has anyone ever done their make-up Whilst on cam? or had someone request to watch?
I'm still getting used to Camming, but to me I think it would be fun to use the time to get tips by letting people choose colours and style etc...
Plus a fun way to gather a room before actually doing a show

Any advice or experience????

I remember a very long time ago, before I ever heard of camming, a guy paid me to put on lipstick in front of him. I think it would attract a certain fetish crowd but I don't know if salt of the earth members would really care much.

Seen it many times on cam. VioletFoxy does this every so often. If I remember right I've seen EmmyLove do it also. Ruby Renegade does shower shows then puts on her makeup afterward. She usually goes out for the night after that so she goes through the whole process of getting ready while still on cam.

It really depends on what kind of room you have, and what your crowd is into.

I wish it would work for me, because I really enjoy playing with makeup.
But I wouldnt do this unless it was requested in a private or I received a large tip. If I had a higher camscore and a bigger roomcount at the start of my night, then maybe I would!
In my experience, spending my time on a task that involves sitting down and focusing on something other than my chatroom seems to drive down my roomcount. I usually try to spend the beginning of my shift building my numbers up so I can work on countdowns and shows that most of my members are into.

I'm sure that there are some guys who would be interested in watching that. I'm thinking about Clips4Sale and all the different clips that guys are willing to pay for (like clips of models doing everyday things...not just the usual tits/ass/pussy stuff).

I don't wear much makeup anymore, other than Carmex lip balm on a daily basis, and black mascara occasionally. I don't cam on free chat sites anymore (only sites where guys have to be in paid chat mode to see me live on cam), so if a guy did have a request to see me apply makeup on cam, I'd be fine with that since he's already paying, but it really would only take like a minute since it'd just be the lip balm and mascara. Lol.

I like watching this. The lipstick part is more of a turn-on, but the rest of the makeup I just like watching. Dunno why. I enjoy watching daily life stuff. Maybe I'm a voyeur and I don't know it lol.

I do this sometimes. When I turn on my cam, while my regulars arrive, I do things like fix the lights, move stuff around, put my make up on, put thigh highs on.. light candles.. it makes me feel more relaxed to have something to do for the first 10 to 20 mins while people arrive and a conversation begins than to sit there staring awkwardly at the screen. I don't think members especially like it though.

Too broke for good lipstick, so I'm always reapplying on cam.
I don't really like doing makeup on cam, but I don't mind putting my wig on in front of everyone.

From a viewer perspective...

There was a studio girl, had a guy who would come and tip for lipstick shows. She would do this sensual routine, put it on nice and slow, pucker up and kiss, that sort of thing. Did nothing for me.

But sometimes we would skype on her breaks, and she would ignore the cam. She would just jabber away while she reworked her face. Fascinating to watch, but not in a sexual way; more of a curiosity, really. Not a fetish for me, or something I would have paid to see, but when she did it she had my undivided attention.

Never done a full face, but sometimes re-apply lipstick on cam. People seem to like it when I do that, and when I leave lipstick kiss marks on things/my body. I've also put on nail/toenail polish on cam and had people tip to pick the color.
