I figure it's futile to attempt break the music nerd stereotype at this juncture, so nerd-out about music here if you so desire.

This one isn't a youtube video:

*EDIT* Mr. Jawbs, youtube tags don't seem to be functioning, unless it's penalizing me for spazzing out and posting 400 youtubes. I removed all the tags.

there you go newfag thank me later ;)

I just got served. I guess they just don't show up in previews.

Also, in before nickelback.

You had me until Mudvayne, otherwise I approve.

My fireteam used to play that song as we were rolling out to combat. Got us all jacked up to 'go to work'. Saw it was related to one of the other ones I was searching and figured I'd post it.

I tip my hat to you, sir. Also Floyd is a kickass selection, I was just listening to "Animals" the other day.

Floyd is good stuff. My mother bought me the Echos collection several years back. Love it. One of those things you hate to listen to as a kid but then when you're older you appreciate it.

On the way back to camp, we'd sing along to:

For us, music was therapy, a way to cope with it all. I never paid much attention to music before that time. Now I take it more seriously.

Zombie is OK, but all sounds like the same song just different lyrics after a while.

I totally agree with you about Pink Floyd. I was never able to get into them as a youngin', but now I love just about all of it.

And I also completely agree with music being therapeutic. It's what's kept me reasonably sane for the past couple of years, so cheers to that.

Here's another rad song:

I love the guitar, but you gotta Believe in love sometimes with Elton John

Youtube Protip: When using the youtube tags on the forum, you only need to put the video's ID code between the tags.

Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch/v/7xzU9Qqdqww you only need to put "7xzU9Qqdqww" between the youtube tags.

I think you get where my favorite genre lies. I like a lot of different stuff too, but I love driving/riding to this kinda sound.

that here it goes again vid gives the embedding disabled bit. Still a fun song and video!

Trusty, the fact you posted Die Antwoord and Sigur Ros means we're going to be pals.

ETA: Amber, listen to this song. The chorus comes straight from the lips of Zeus.

I am here to ruin this thread with terrible music that I listen to on a daily basis.

Enjoy! Or don't!

New Coheed single from their upcoming album. Hopefully this embeds, if not, go listen, its different and good.

Also I love this video and song from Breaking Benjamin. I even have it on my MFC profile so it may be old news to you. Wait... nobody reads that profile anyway. I think I like it because I get wet panties for Ben Burnley. In an alternate life he is my soul mate. We even share the same bday... whoa too mushy sorry.

@TheChump Mr. Bungle is the opposite of terrible.

This thred needs more poprock. How do you expect me as a 14 yo girl to cope?

I think this is what the kiddies are into these days. Iunno...

Re: Pop Music - Is it bad that I only know of Ke$ha (and the proper spelling) via YouTube parody videos?

I feel like I'm becoming a caricature of an old person, and I'm not even thirty.
