A couple things...

1) When I signed up for CamYourWay I didn't have to hand over ANY personal information to use their service. The only information they have is how much money I make and the login information for my accounts. Although there is risk in doing that, it was a risk I was willing to take. Why? Because the guys that run the site have gone above and beyond to gain the trust of cam models over the last few years. They saw a need and they delivered a product in an honest and professional way.

I am not trying to say anything bad about CamYourWay, because the consensus is exactly what you said and it seems that other entrepreneurs would do well to emulate their approach.

What confuses me is this from their FAQs

Why do you have to take my payment information for the free trail?
We wish we didn’t have to, but this is how free trials work when one uses the PayPal and Google Checkout infrastructure. No charges are applied to your account for the first 30 days and you can stop payment to us at any time through PayPal or Google.

It would seem me that if they have your PayPal or Google wallet info then they have your personal info, and they could fairly easily connect to your cam name. I must be missing something. :?

Yes, you are missing the fact that I use my corporate/business account to pay for the services. I also used a registered agent when I started my business in the event that someone searched for and found my business name in public records then my actual name wouldn't be associated with it. Nor would my cam name.

And that's how ~600 people found out my name.

Oh well... life goes on.

I've had a verified business account on PayPal so long I don't even remember how I went about getting it verified. But I think it's a great idea for a cam model to incorporate, and create an entire entity to dba. Things have gotten bigger than my wife and I ever expected. I think this is the year we incorporate her, and hire a CPA....last thing we want is an audit because I messed up.

So this other service "cam her way" utilizes PayPal as well?

You can set Siri to call you whatever you want. I go by my real name, "princess."
