Just want to point out the ridiculousness of naming a sex toy like an iPhone. There shouldn't be a Lush 1, 2, 3, 4, etc... there should be product stability lmao.

I want to know when they are going to consult an actual woman about design. The Lush is uncomfortable because it's rigidly curved and not every vagina is shaped the same exact way or the same size. And that stupid bump...don't get me started.
I have complained about it since the first time I saw it in 2014. The original had the charging port on the part you put inside which was monumentally stupid. But the antenna was straight instead of arced and they've made the 4 even MORE rigid. I don't need a hug for my vagina. I need a comfortable insertable toy to sell a fantasy. It doesn't need to thrust. It doesn't need to spin. It just needs to vibrate and not make me want to curse the makers to the 9th circle of Hell.

they are like $120, so not cheap but not crazy expensive either, but definitely expensive enough that the charging pins shouldn't be rusting like its a cheap knock off.

Why not a charging system like a electric toothbrush, no contacts but via 2 coils. A toothbrush is completely sealed.
Because it would prevent planned obsolescence. All tech is designed to fail.

Tbf it does reduce the speed the toy charges at as well I think. With a toothbrush u can just leave it on overnight and phones have a larger surface area for the coils. Metal contacts are usually fine for waterproof toys if they're made well.
I've never had them rust but I don't do bath/shower/pool shows either. Fast charging is necessary when a show is going well, or have a backup, I guess.
I just want the end to be shaped differently. Get rid of the bulb, make it flat, get rid of that stupid useless bump and make it smaller/thinner.

Well it's not even an original design. It's a copy of another toy that delayed release for a year because they found connection issues.

Yeah-- that's great in theory-- but when mine went out earlier this year after having it for 4 months-- I went through hell with support... first claiming that there was no record of my order, then once I provided proof of my order-- it went radio silent. Several attempts afterward and silence. I gave up and got the Disco-4000-- er, I mean, the Lush4.
Honestly-- NOBODY notices the difference on the customer end.
Some of Lovense products are great. Love the Domi, for example. Some are hot garbage--- Gemini was the biggest waste of money for me. The Lush4-- is just meh. The only feature that I like is the quicker charging-- the rest are pointless.
