Would it be more fruitful (i.e. bring in more money) to be:
a.) nude model who does super sexy shows but never shows her face, thus removes personality/personable interactions
or
b.) non nude model who shows her face and uses her fun personality in her shows
I think nudity without an identity attached is pretty much a one-trick pony. Perhaps with a "girl behind a paywall" model, like LiveJasmin, where there is far less engagement in general chat, being a body without a face might work out just fine. I know that I've had instances on LJ where a model would refuse to show her face once the clothes started coming off, even in private. And, at the risk of sounding a bit like an asshole, at least from the experience I've had with faceless models, it really does become a scenario of pure objectification. She essentially becomes an
it -- just a body I'd like to see, rather than a person I'd like to engage with. There was only one thing to do while there, and once that was done, there wasn't much reason to stick around. Everyone has their different methods of doing things, and if that's something that doesn't bother a model, maintaining a room that's more of a drive thru than a social club, then more power to her. All in all, though, I would say that if you are creative and personable, the non nude strategy probably provides more tools to work with in order to make money. Non-nude models may have to work in a less conventional fashion to get the tips, but at least with the MFC framework, it's been a proven method, since social interaction is such a big factor.
But of course, it's not black and white. A balance can be struck somewhere between clothed and unclothed, and a model can certainly be sexy and desirable without taking it all off. I'm a big fan of faces, though, and I've definitely given more money over the years to non nude models than I have to faceless models.
