I met this girl about 5 years ago on MFC. She was on several other sites too. We became good friends and often chatted off-site too. Then about 4 years ago she quit altogether. I had the feeling that she was just burned out. We kept in contact for a while, but eventually lost contact. Another friend who knows her recently told me that she has gone back to work in a studio but she didn't tell her what site she is working on. It sounds a little strange. Apparently it is a site that is privates only, no free chat and maybe no previews. I don't see how clients find you that way. But I am sure she is very careful about her privacy. She was always worried that people who know her might find out about her work. We were always on good terms, so I am pretty sure she wouldn't mind me finding her. But I have no idea where to look. Does anybody know of a site that fits that description?

Why can't the friend that knows her reach out and ask her if she's cool with them giving you her info? Something doesn't quite add up here.

777livecams.com?

Maybe because it was none of her business.

Hey now. They may not have as much hits/traffic as the biggies like MyFreeCams, Streamate, and Chaturbate, but don't knock sites with paid chat only modes. :p It's nice when a model can earn money while taking a little break from some of the "free chat" B.S. (Sorry, but seeing the same dudes in your free chat every night lurking the entire time can be annoying, in addition to the non-tippers telling you to "Twirl for us, bb.").

ImLive, Cams, AdultWork, etc. have paid chat modes where the model doesn't have to do free chat. Clients find them by browsing the page of online models, and maybe searching categories like 'Ebony'. Those sites have their own Twitter pages, as well as several clients who are registered members of those sites.

CamModelDirectory, SkyPrivate, and LiveCamModelShows are independent camming sites that list Skype show models. The guy pays the model's selected Skype show rate, and after she's received notification that he's paid, she does the show right then and there. No "free chat" mode necessary. These sites also have Twitter pages, and several clients who browse for Skype show models.

Some models even prefer to do shows on CMD/SkyPrivate/LCMS because they get a larger percentage. You know how depressing it is to see that a member has spent $100 on you, and realizing you're only gonna see like 30 - 35% of that?

If you've ever watched a model broadcasting on, say, Streamate, MFC, or CB, and you hear those little Skype chat sounds, she's probably also logged into Skype to keep herself available for CMD/SkyP/LCMS guys wanting to book a Skype show with her. Then when they do, she'll either go in 'away' mode on the other site, or stop the broadcast to do the Skype show for the one guy.

Many don't do this unfortunately and I always feel really bad for the guy on the other end paying the bill for everyone else to watch this free show he thinks is just for him.
Studio Models seem to be the worst for it unfortunately - on CB.

Though, yesterday I was shocked to see the worst I have seen for this: on CB a popular younger model who had about 100k+ followers had lots of things in her room saying she has created a brand new account. Fair enough, try promote that and get followers on it before you switch. However she was live on both at the same time. Ok no problem still (in my eyes)... BUT the whopper was on her new account she was in a PVT with someone for a good 20 - 30 mins paying at 60 per min and she didn't do ANYTHING on her MAIN/popular account, so we was all able to see this poor persons private show. I tried saying something but just got silenced.

I know a lot that do this stuff but similarly know a lot of models who will never do it purely because they appreciate the people spending their money on them for a pvt etc.

Exactly. It would seem to me that a model would want to get some publicity. But I think she might be going for some exclusivity.
btw, I know there have been some trust issues between the two of them in the past, so I'm not surprised that she's not telling friend #2 where she's camming

So if she if there are trust issues between two models, why would she tell the model what studio she was at? This doesn't make sense and conflicts with your OP.

Not every model wants publicity. Most of us just want to get on cam and work the traffic the site provides us.

I don't see any conflict at all. They live in the same neighborhood and have known each other since childhood. The second model probably found out by accident that the first went back to work. That doesn't mean that the first would give her any details. I know a little about the genesis of the trust issues and I don't blame her. But its not for me to disclose to the whole world here.

The second model's telling me is most likely more about gossiping than doing me any favors, which might give you an idea why there are the trust issues.

okay so if there are trust issues, why she talking to this model and why is this model telling people on the internet her business? that's why i say its conflicting.

dude. some people just leave from your life. if the model wanted you to find her new profile, she would of used the same camname and promote it on her twitter. also what if the model who told you info made it all up? only to get you to strike interest in her,?

Yep, I've had this happen to me three times now on MFC where they are streaming on two or three different sites (MFC, CB and another one). First model, was one I had been in her room since the first day she started and tipped her well in public chat. We had already done a couple of true privates as well, so felt comfortable with her. Then, one time I heard the CB "ding" while we were in private. I asked her if she was broadcasting on other sites. Her response was "I just started today to help bring in more money". Told her I didn't mind if she did it in public. But, when I'm paying for a true private (I saw it on CB while we were in true private), it should be just us. She said I was being mean and unreasonable. I exited the true private, went into the chat room and explained to her via PM that she won't see another token from me again and blocked her. Second and third models, similar in that they were ones I had been with before and now just close and block them.

Again, I don't mind if they are in public and stream on multiple sites. But, when I hear other sites dinging in the background and she frequently takes time out to type to someone else while we're in a true private. Nope. Done. Just close and block. Might get a message from me as to why. If I wanted to make a public show, I'd tip in the public chat room. Which I've done numerous times with a couple of models because I didn't want to stop the somewhat consistent tipping and risk them losing tokens. Now, I'm very selective if I do a private anymore. If at all. It's been a while since I've done one.

Maybe you're just not paying attention. I answered your concern. They have known each other since long before they were old enough to be camming. They live in the same building. They have kids the same age who play together. #2 is a nosey busybody. If you can't figure out how that could lead to unintended disclosure of information, then I'm sorry

ofc people leave your life. I have no problem with that. But sometimes they just lose touch, especially when they live half a world apart. I know she quit because she wasn't happy with the job. I know that she deleted everything related to the job from her computer. You might understand that if you had a kid that might accidentally find any of it. She was always paranoid about being discovered, to the point where she took her computer apart every time she logged off and she told her kid that it was broken. Knowing her fears, it was my suggestion that she get rid of everything related to camming if she was serious about getting out because kids have a way of being curious and snooping, especially when they are home alone. If she is back working, I am sure its out of dire necessity. I imagine she went to a studio because her kid is now of an age where its much harder to keep the job a secret when you work from home. And if she's going in a more private direction, she might not want to use the old name. I know plenty of girls who change their names or get new accounts on a regular basis.

Girl #2 could easily have made it up. She always was a drama queen. But if its true, I'd like to offer a little help to an old friend. If she's intentionally avoiding me, that's fine. I have plenty of other friends I have made since she quit. If I find her, I'll just say hello and see if she has any interest in re-establishing the friendship. If not, fine. I don't go where I'm not wanted. She's very attractive but this was never a romantic relationship.

Can we please leave off the nit picking and get back to the original question? Where can a model go if she wants to avoid public/free/live exposure and just do private shows?

I think you have the answer to your question by your own hand. Your "friend" is obviously concerned about who knows about her camming work and took steps to cover her tracks. Now, if as you say she went off the camming grid for a long time, without keeping you informed, she has done that for HER reasons. A friend would realise this, be patient, respect her wishes and let her get on with her life.

If she wants help or to touch base with you in the future, then it is best to step back and allow her to do it on her terms. Also, be aware that continued trawling for possible places where she works will start to make you sound more like a stalker rather than a concerned friend.

:)
