When you show someone a great video of someone's performance, and they say something like "Yeah, he's great, but there's only ONE Michael Jackson." *facepalm* Who even said anything about Michael Jackson, and why do you even have to compare the two? Can't you just focus on enjoying this person's performance without throwing in the "Well there's only ONE Michael Jackson!" remarks?

I wish I could actively block channels on Youtube from showing up on my feed. As in, I wish there was a "Not Interested" option on a channel's page, right next to the subscribe button. Trying to catch the offending channels and add them to whatever suck-ass algorithm is in place to (not really) filter them out from the limited and arbitrary selection of channels provided on my home page is tedious and infuriating. I shouldn't have to exhaust the "Not Interested" option on individual videos that pop up on my recommendations list for an hour, only to see half-assed results! I shouldn't have to worry about polluting my feed with a million shitty suggestions that I don't care about whenever I watch a random video!

Since Google & youtube are (basically) the same, I wonder if youtube suggestions come from both your Google searches/web browsing AND youtube viewing habits. That could explain the shitty suggestions, something I've wondered about for some time.

Gmail ads are based, in part, on the contents of your emails. I wonder if someone in the septic tank business gets literally shitty recommendations.

Interesting notions. I definitely wouldn't put it past Google to do this. In my case, I think it's more the case that I just watch obscene amounts of Youtube, and the algorithm gets gunked up and confused about my tastes, so it leaps at any new input too enthusiastically and oversteps its predictions. It's like, "Oh! He watched a video about anti-Reagan punk anthems! He must really love crazy Cold War conspiracy videos!" or "Oh, hey, he watched a video by boogie2988! He must be a fat, Youtube-drama-loving, Gamer Gate misogynist!"

I don't even really like Google search these days. They sanitize the results so much, the service is practically useless. If I'm gonna have to wade through disappointing search results, I'd might as well use Bing, and get paid for my troubles.

People who walk their dogs off-leash in areas where they're supposed to be leashed :rage:

My dog can't go off-leash and she gets super amped if off-leash dogs come running at her, so naturally I only take her on mandatory-leash trails and on the streets around our neighbourhood. There are lots of off-leash parks and areas yet people let their doggies roam free, it drives me bananas. It upsets my dog, not to mention it sucks for people who want to avoid off-leash dogs, and it's often so close to traffic. :(

Or people who let their dog shit, then don't pick it up.

Now here is a rant worthy incident. Just had a knock on my door at 12:30 a.m. 12 freakin 30.

Guy in his early 20's. Didn't want to open the door for him, but finally did it. It's a neighbor I haven't met before...

He goes into this long, drawn-out tale about how he just got a new job, it's painting and pressure washing, and its in a town about 40 miles away, but only thing is, he's really low on gas, and blah blah blah.

Cut him off, said "Sorry, can't help you."
His mouth dropped open a little, he looked a little hurt, and said "You can't help me?"
Repeated verbatim: "Sorry. Can't. Help. You."

Who the f@ck is that dense? I'd bet 1000 bucks he's after some meth, or crack, or maybe heroin.

This is why you never answer the door. Like me. Nothing any good ever comes from it.

YES x 100 about the people with their dogs not on a leash.

We have a lot of problems in this neighborhood with people doing this (half of them don't even live here, and just pass through here during their walks with their dog), and we're pretty fed-up with it. On our neighborhood's Facebook page, my neighbor made a status about how someone left dog shit and vomit right in her driveway. I remember that time I was walking home with bags of groceries, and stepped in a fresh pile of dog shit with my brand new sneakers on. Smh. This is the very reason I have to always look down at the sidewalk/grass when I'm walking. It's bad enough when people walking by litter their damn cigarettes in our driveways (I realize it's "the norm" for people to toss their cigarettes on the ground when they're done with them, but it bugs me...especially when it's thrown in someone's freaking driveway).

Which brings me to another rant. If parents are gonna be letting their little kids walk around by themselves ringing doorbells to ask for school fundraiser purchases, they should have a little talk with them beforehand about manners. Like to not whine "AWWWWW!!!!!" at the person who tells them "No, thank you."

Nice park right near our house. Long walking track runs around the whole thing. At regular intervals, they have poop bag dispensers/waste cans, and signs everywhere "Please pick up after your dog". Even with bags supplied, can't tell you how many times I saw people let their dog shit without picking it up. Really annoying considering I was walking a dog that considered shit a potential snack. Would have loved to see some fines issued for that.

Not the norm for me.

20 years ago, I was a member of an elite military unit. Every morning we would run patrols across our own base. Spent about an hour or so walking along picking up cigarette butts...

Oh the things I saw! The horrors!

Anyways, to this day I have an aversion to throwing butts on the ground. They go in my pocket until I get to a trash can. It may be PTSD, not sure.

That's good. I wish more people had the decency to do that.

A friend's younger brother just received his first credit cards, and there are early signs of him spending himself into irresponsible debt. In a matter of a couple months, he maxed out his card with a brand new television, an Xbox One (even though he already has a PS4) along with a few games, and a spontaneous trip to Vegas, among other smaller items that add up. Good thing he has a job albeit it looks as if his spending habit are greater than his earnings.

As someone who's looked after the friend's younger brother, i did a light warning (as well as my friend/the older brother) of over-spending beyond his means, but i think that message went from one ear out the other. Is it time i do a hard intervention before this get's way out of control?

Well, if Trump wins, bankruptcy will become a sacrament, so I'd hold off saying anything, for now.

We FINALLY got the hot weather I've been looking forward to, and now they're talking about tropical storm Bonnie this Memorial Day weekend. WHYYYYY...

I need to rant about my own colossally moronic stupidity. Sometimes I do the most idiotic things. It's a wonder I haven't gotten killed trying to cross the street by now.

I discovered over a year ago how incompetent Chaturbate was. Over and over, I had accounts frozen for buying tokens. Even had it banned outright at one point. Trying to use my cc on that site will get an account shut down pronto, and I am not really sure why. Entirely possible I did something wrong, idk.

But anyhoo, I started spending elsewhere, save for an occasional gift card purchase on Chaturbate. Still had accounts frozen, but usually cleared up pretty quick.

Tonight, I bought a gift card and bought a few tokens on Chaturbate. Bought some on MFC as well, same card, same credit processor. Things are fine on MFC, but once again, on CB, "Unable to send tip. Please contact support."

So I contact them. You'll never guess what the email I got from them said, unless you guess "As you may have noticed, your account with the Chaturbate live cam community has been terminated. This termination is due to suspected violation of our terms of service."

I can still log in and view cams, I can still chat; I just can't tip any of the tokens I bought.

But this rant isn't about Chaturbate; nor is it about bleating at @punker barbie in the hopes she can rescue me. It's not about getting my few dollars refunded; frankly, I hope they keep the money so the lesson will stick this time.

See, I have never run into this kind of trouble, not on Cam4, LiveJasmin, XHamster, XLove, SkyPrivate, MFC, or Bonga. Only on Chaturbate.

And yet I once again returned to the most incompetent, poorly run, sh!theap of a website on the planet, and gave them my money. There is only one explanation for this -- I am a f*cking idiot.

Though the self-loathing will remain, this concludes my rant.

I'm REALLY sick and tired of being labeled as something that I'm absolutely not whatsoever

Seriously, whoever assumes that or believes that all I do is stalk people on camsites needs to get their heads examined!

I've made mistakes and done things to a certain cam girl on Streamate for reasons that I'm not going to go into or explain, but this entire fiasco all because of the fact that I let somebody know something about her and it's just very frustrating as well as aggravating that things have gone down the path that they have. I know very damn well and understand completely that women sign up for these sites to make money to help them out with college or whatever.

What I don't understand though and think which is absolutely bullshit, is being told to "get over myself" "man up" etc. I don't know if anybody's found that certain cam girl who stands out from the rest for whatever reason that they like spending a lot of time with as well as money whenever possible and you find out that you have things in common between the both of you, in a non creepy way of course.

I have also had my Streamate account banned as well which is also absolute bullshit and I can't get it back unfortunately, and customer service sure isn't helping at all!

This entire fiasco as well as this situation just fucking sucks!

I'm just angry at this certain person as well as other people a lot lately. I've been taking guitar lessons as well as trying to gain weight and I'm doing things with my brother and I STILL get falsely accused of being absolutely nothing but a creepy stalker just because of the fact that all I want is nothing more for something that has been happening for over a year resolved? *Facepalms*

I've got better things to for the time being!

Back when I used to smoke, I'd just dash a cigeratte wherever, whenever on the ground. I didn't even consider it littering. I'm pretty embarrassed that I didn't realize how gross and inconsiderate that is, it was just normal for me. I think a lot of people don't. I think it's just something people do culturally without a thought, at least on the East coast.

If that was a small wrapper, most people wouldn't just toss it on the ground.

FYI... for those who didn't know
It's legal in 16 states to break someone's car window if you a see dog locked in a hot car.

That's an old graphic. It's now legal in NINETEEN states to break a window to save a dog's life!! Just be sure to follow correct protocol before doing so, to avoid going to jail!

I've made a promise to somebody and I haven't been doing a good job at keeping it and pissing this person off a lot!

I'm even afraid that this person in particular won't forgive me and give me another chance which is what I REALLY don't want.

I'm trying to become a better person regardless of things that have happened so that I won't make the same mistakes again however.

Microsoft. I am getting sick and tired of removing this "Get Windows 10" from my computer.

If I get one more of these "Send this to 10 people, and God will bless you" chain letter things in my Facebook inbox, I'm gonna scream.

I absolutely can't stand those chain letters, they are absolutely very annoying and they are absolutely pointless!
