Ok, first off, I don't know why so many new girls feel the MFC profile is so important to the point where they freak out and search out people to pay to help them. The built in MFC profile editor is simple and easy to use, and you DON'T need some elaborate CSS design to set up your MFC profile. Just answer the questions in the "edit profile" section of your admin pages, or leave them blank if you don't want them to appear, and use the "customize profile" link in your admin pages to change the appearance as you desire. You don't HAVE to have a fancy designed profile to let your viewers know what you're all about. The most important aspect of your MFC career is being ON cam and entertaining, not so much what's on your profile...

BUT, if you do want something fancy for some reason, let this thread be the place that you ask questions and find help for it.

Attention all MFC profile editors! Post a reply here if you have advice, services for hire, or helpful links for HTML and css design.

I was noticing some of waterbird/airflame's layouts on girls' profiles has that awful copyright note on it. It's super offputting, charging $50 bucks, then forcing a model to leave this threatening quote on their profile.

Copyrights are copyrights if someone dont like copyrights on the page just dont buy the profile. "Simple". And for those that dont know what are copyrights check google = "copyrights"

Have you considered that you may get more business if you didn't force the girls to keep it there, or at least make it less threatening/ugly sounding? I'm guessing it doesn't matter to you, that you just do this as a side hobby. But my opinion stands that it's tacky.

As i posted before i dont force no one to buy my template. If You dont want to have copyrights on the profile in mfc You can always make Your own template, find free one like PokerBabe give or buy other template from someone else. But as i know all people copyright they "HARD" work.

I repeat, no one said you're forcing people to buy your template. But people who DO buy your code are forced to keep your copyright jargon there. If they don't, they get shit-talked on your profile.

If You buy my profile You can read at the main page info about copyrights. So dont know what is this talking about the copyrights. If You dont want to have copyrights on profile please dont buy from me. SImple.

I always inform people about the copyrights. And there is no listed person on my profile that have bought the profile from me. I only post there thieves that stole the code or change the 3x lines of it and think i will not notice the code is ripped off.

No its refering to people who stole my template and deleted the copyrights. I updated the list on my profile i think it will be more clear to understand.

Well shit! Then it was all just a misunderstanding. It's good that you changed the wording to avoid more confusion. And I see that you allow people who buy your template to edit/reedit it, so long as they don't completely remove the copyright.

I simply love the outcome of @WaterBird designs, tho I'm playing with this activity too, the copyright issue is not such a big deal for me... my only problem is those who hotlink my hosted images from my blog and post the image on their profile... the http requests are huge and that's a problem for me.
@Airflame - hope for an collaboration one day, tho people may think we are in competition regarding our line of activity (to be more clear ... MFC / CB profile designs) - (not at all)

Not to mention that it seems 95% of the MFC users won't (or can't) read a profile, so don't sweat it.

I used the basic editor and like the look of it, BUT am open to finding a really good theme that is beachy/tropical. Free is great, but wouldn't mind paying for it. If u know of something like that, let me know. To understand what I have going on now, see jessajemz.com and see the beach/tropical vibe I have.

Does anyone know how to get the google api fonts to work on mfc?
It says to use this

 <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Tangerine">

but that doesn't work in the HTML section.
@font-face is too much of a pain for me to utilize as well.

My favorite part is the design. I can offer images if that's not your fuerte with your profile info/content4sale/club/etc. at pretty decent rates of $XX if you upload and post them to your profile yourself. MFC only allows basic HTML tagging to be used, so quite a lot of tags won't be accessible, like <link>, since that tag would go into the <head> section of a webpage, which MFC doesn't give you access to. You would need to use @import in your custom CSS to be able to use it. The Google fonts page actually has @import codes and a guide on how to implement it. You can also use @font-face for the same purpose.

In your CSS (on top), you need to place the following:

@import url(http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Tangerine);

The @import does the same thing as the standard <link> which it says to use.

Once you have it imported you can add it as the font-family element to the appropriate tag you wish to use the font for. For example, if you are using <h1> for a heading where you want that font, it would look like:

I had some real problems with getting @import to work the way it should on MFC. I assume that is because it's supposed to go into the header. I found it best to use @font-face

How to:
1) Go to Google fonts (https://www.google.com/fonts)
2) Select font you want to use and press button "Quick Use" At the bottom the Link you are supposed to put in the Header appears. (e.g. <link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>)
3) Copy the URL within the link (e.g. http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans) and paste in in your Browser
4) The correct @font-face appears. Copy paste it into your CSS and you are done

A few suggestions:
The Pinterest link/button supports media (image) which can be replaced in the markup code (the link code)
Personally I do not recommend G+ because they might block the url.
Stumble requires NFSW which I've already added but they ask it anyway.
Replace the name of the links with graphics and that's it.
Note: You may want to remove the class for each button (I used a custom class for the buttons to look different / CSS version) here

Emmm... there are MFC models which use twitter (80% use twitter) or tumblr to post their activity and to keep in touch with MFC users "hey I'm online now"... and yup there are models who wait for premiums to discover and tip them. The "share thingy" is for those models who want to gain more traffic and social presence. Regarding "Most people that is on the MFC does not want others to know what they are watching" ... I'm kind of active on Twitter and there are so many MFC users (non-models) who promote and support models and their activity. The main question (and it's a personal one) - why start webcaming if you, as a webcam performer do not wish to get exposed... doing shows in a little dark corner , unknown, unseen, unavailable?! ... well that's not adult videochat. I don't know maybe I'm totally wrong but that's my argument.
At the end of the day its all about the money/tokens earned or just to socialize?

Yeah, and having a Facebook "share" button is risky too. How many people are logged into their personal facebook and could unknowingly click that and share it on their wall, then the next day have their mom, aunt and cousin all asking why dude is posting about some naked girls on a cam site? Same with google+

Share buttons on profiles should probably only be the main, adult friendly networks: tumblr, Twitter.

@AmberCutie agree with you but all buttons are optional and to actually share something on G+ or Facebook there are 2 steps, one is clicking the button which is well defined (in some cases) and the "post it" button when the person who clicked can add some text or whatever so "unknowingly" its not possible.
moms, aunts and cousins should respect an adult's privacy, because kids are not allowed on MFC (so they say)
Jokes aside, it's an interesting issue.
