My Miss Camgirl 2010

I'm gonna announce here first hoping that this way I can make the message to reach as many camfans and camgirls as possible.

This year I decided to promote a contest so the people can choose My Miss Camgirl 2010. This means that My Miss Camgirl can be actually YOUR Miss Camgirl.

How does it work?
Simple, between Dec 13 and Dec 27 people can just visit here and choose from the list the girl that they think is the 2010's best camgirl. The limit is 3 votes per day, but you can vote for the same girl only once per day.

But, and this is important, votes from people with verified e-mails will count 1 vote and anonymous votes will count 0.2. Why? Well, because I don't want people trying to cheat the contest. I won't say whether it is easy or hard to cheat, but if anyone find a way to do it, this person will have to spend a lot of time to send fake votes.

Because of anonymous votes, the votes are rounded to first integer. To not have any doubts...

1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 anonymous vote = 1 vote
6 anonymous votes = 2 votes

1 vote with verified email = 1 vote
2 votes with verified email = 2 votes

Who are the contestants?
Girls that...

• I published a review before December 13, 2010
• have been working in 2010
• have an Amazon wish list (it is not mandatory)
• didn't request for removal (i.e. didn't asked me to remove their videos/pictures)

The Amazon thing was initially mandatory because of the prize, but also to automatically exclude girls that wouldn't like to participate in this contest. But later I realized that some girls, for whatever reason, don't have a wish list. If you flaw just in this rule and you still want to participate, e-mail/PM/DM/call/send a telegram to me and I will include you. You are not forced to create a wish list, but if you do, let me know. But be sure to do this before December 13. That's why I'm announcing this today, so any girl who wants to jump in have some time to do so. Just don't forget about the first rule - I must have reviewed you before December 13. If I didn't do it yet, forget about it because I'm not planning to publish any review before Dec 13. The other rules pretty much excludes girls that don't want to be part of this and include those that want to participate. If I included you and for whatever reason you don't want to participate, e-mail me.

The prize
I wish I was FreeOnes and have $30,000 to give away in prizes, but I'm not. My prize is more humble. The girl elected "My Miss Camgirl 2010" will get a $100 gift on Amazon. Now some girls will understand why I asked for their Amazon wish lists If the winner does not have an Amazon wish list, she can collect the prize with tokens (tip or pvt, whatever the winner want). But, as the budget is not much, I can't spend 2000 tokens so you can get $100. It will be 1000 tokens. That's why the Amazon thing is the best option

If the winner choose the Amazon gift, it can be whatever item she wants. It can be 20 packs of JuJu Bees at $5 each pack or a 10K White Gold Diamond for $100. It is up to the winner. And don't worry about the shipping costs.

Suggestions and questions
The page is online already, but you can just start voting on Dec 13 (Monday). This gives time to any girl to contact me, but also to any one to make a suggestion or ask a question. Anyone (camfan or camgirl), feel free to contact me for whatever reason.

If for whatever reason you can't vote using IE, just report it to me and/or use some decent browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera...). Safari 3 doesn't render the page as it should but you can vote normally, but updating to Safari 5 is recommended. Smart-phone users can open the page normally and vote.

A correction to my comment about fixing the email entry issue...

You don't need to refresh the page. If the email entering doesn't work, click somewhere else on the page to get rid of that screen. Then click on the vote button, enter email and it will work.

Per the rules, one can not vote again until after 0:00 GMT. Indeed, when I went to the page a couple of hours after I voted (just to see who was leading), it said I can't vote again for another couple of hours.

But when I went there just now, it's saying I can't vote again for another 23 hours.

Yeah, I had this too, except I voted early this morning. Which sucks, because now it's reset to where I'll have to vote during the time I like to cam unless I skip some time. Is there any way to reset our clocks besides waiting to vote?

OK, clearing cache seems to fix it.

When you visit the page, it looks for a cookie with the e-mail that was used when you first voted. If you don't have a cookie, then the system will consider you an anonymous user and apply the rules based on some other info.

Somehow (maybe forging an AJAX request or with JavaScript off) people used an empty e-mail address. This screwed things up for people who, by mistake or on purpose, used an empty email, had a shared IP or the cookie was broken. I've coded a server side validation to avoid this. Refresh the page skipping the cache.

@AlexLady, I ran a query and you are able to vote. Your last vote was Mon, 13 Dec 2010 16:58:16 GMT. If you still have problems to vote, send me a message.

To the people who didn't confirm the email yet (now there are 61 not confirmed and 70 confirmed), you NEED to confirm. Check your spam box. If you haven't got any e-mail, contact me with your e-mail address and I will resend the message.

It was actually good because it helped me to find a bug. Nothing better than putting hundreds of people testing my code

Seems tons of people are having the confirm button stick if they vote on Chrome. One of my MFC peeps said

His Javascript is broken. Tell him view-> developer->Javascript Console where he'll see he's calling a method that's not there:

Uncaught TypeError: Object an Object> has no method 'validate'

I was just telling people to use a different browser today since they were getting frustrated at this bug.
