Music for Videos

Hi all, I have a question about using music for videos. I know I can play music while streaming (MFC), but I want to shoot some content before I do my first broadcast and I'm unsure as to whether I can use music for videos due to copyright issues?

Can I play music in the background? I don't think I could add music in the editor as a track......do you use loyalty free music? Any advice would be extremely appreciated.

If you’re selling them on Share then mfc really doesn’t care. 95% of mine have my favorite music in them. Zero issues for over 10 years there.

You cannot do it on streamate, but everywhere else it's fine (as far as I know). If someone puts in a copyright complaint, they just take that specific video down. However, I've had a lot of conversations w support people about it, (on various clipsites) and it's pretty uncommon for an artist to make a copy-right complaint on an amateur porn clip. If they do the site will take that individual clip down, but like I said t is extremely rare. 7 years here, 1000s of clips on several sites, never once an issue.

I've never tried uploading one w music to iwantclips, so not sure on them. MV, C4S, MFC Share, and PH are all fine.

Streamate will reject clips for even a few seconds of music in the background, except if it's from their royalty-free collection on offer. They already have some real thigh-slapping party tunes up for us.

Same here about most of mine having music. It's never been a problem for me on MFC, OnlyFans, ManyVids, etc. I do remember, a while back, that there was a site that wouldn't let me post videos for sale that contained copyrighted music, but I can't even remember which site(s) it was. There's been so many sites over the years.

People will buy them without music as well. I have filmed 1000s of videos by now, and only like 2 of them have music in them from when I first started.
