BTW, I am aware my exploration of the nature of animals, humans being one of those animals, and that relationship to incest, was off topic, and not really what is being discussed here. I just got curious about what science there was on the subject, And shared it because I found it sort of interesting as a digression from the main point.

I haven't got real caught up in the thread topic, because I knew personally from the start where I stood on that, and that is, that I am strongly in the camp of persons, or ppl being able to do absolutely anything imaginable, and beyond that they desire if it does not harm others. (and others includes any living thing, or even the environment. And indirect harm is still harm.) But meet that requirement, and who am I, or is anyone to tell them what to do or not do? Yes I think suicide being illegal is ridiculous, and believe euthanasia should be decriminalized, and regulated only to the degree that assures it is handled correctly. And victimless crimes are not crimes for christ's sake, the're victimless! So I have the tilt of saw-grass mashed in a crop circle when it comes to no harm, no foul. As far as the OP goes, just don't see anything to debate.

no.... I was mentioning it as someone made an example and was saying that it was making out incest is all evil etc. In the game of thrones books it doesn't show it as all evil seeing as not all the products of it have issues, but it also shows that some of the products of it do have serious issues. Yes, it is fantasy and completely unreal, but it's not totally unrealistic. It shows both sides. Anyway, I wasn't posting it as a serious point. I don't really want to get too involved with discussing the moralities of incest. As much as people may have fantasies about it that they enjoy from a distance, or even hear about stories where it's all ok, there are too many realities of it that just aren't cool. If you haven't experienced it... well, you just can't know.
