Model not able to see some users chatting in her CB room

Hi,

Asking for a friend who cams on CB.

Over the last week or so, there have been a few instances of chat going on in her CB room that I was surprised she allowed without kicking or silencing the user or users like she normally would. Apparently she couldn't see the users or what they were typing!

The strange thing is the main culprit, who has come in twice now and spammed the room with unwanted emotes, advertising other models, or just random gibberish, always starts off by asking the question "do you have eyes?" Almost as though he's checking to make sure my model friend can't see him and what he's typing. Then when he gets no response he starts spamming the room.

There have been other members who said something kick or silence worthy that my model friend couldn't see, so it's not just one guy that seems to be invisible to her.

Anyone seen anything like this before? Is there a known bug or glitch in CB these guys are exploiting?

I've told her to contact CB support and ask the question, and also to see if there's a way to perma ban the main culprit. What she's had to do the two times this guy has come in was make a member a mod and he's silenced this idiot, at which point he leaves the room, but she can't find a way to ban him if she can't see him! She doesn't usually have a mod so it takes time for her to realise this guy is in the room upsetting people, make someone mod and allow them to silence him, at which point he's already annoyed everyone in her room!

Hope someone has some ideas about ways to deal with this issue!

Sounds rather odd and not encountered this before, if your friend is only one not seeing this chat then it does sound a bit like it's possibly an issue with their setup. Possible thing to try is to make sure chat settings are set to original default and possibly try a different browser (up to date and cleared cache). Definitly contact cb support if that changes nothing.

This happens to me as well from time to time.. usually notice when there's a lul in the conversation randomly or its brought to my attention.. a refresh of the broadcast page fixes this for me and I notice it happens less frequently after routine cache clears.

Has she accidently put him on her ignore list. Get her ton check in her chat settings, I did this one time.

Looks like this guy was in the ignore list, so he has now been removed from there (along with everyone else) and will get banned the next time he comes in!

Seems very strange a model can ignore a user on CB but that still allows them to chat in the room to everybody else except the model?!

Anyway, at least we know what the issue is now!

Thank you everyone for your responses.

We did wonder if it was something as simple as these people being on her ignore list, but ruled this out without even checking as it seems like a crazy implementation of this feature so it couldn't possibly be that! On MFC (which she also cams on) if someone is ignored by a model, their chat won't appear in the model's room to anybody even in tip notes, as otherwise they could be saying anything without the model realising - which is actuallly what is happening here so I'll ask her to check this now!

She's mostly using the Lovense browser which has plenty of bugs, so it could well be an issue relating to its cache, so I'll ask her to clear this down too.
