Mic issues!

I am on MFC, did my first show last night.. It wasn't terrible, I more or less got to feel around.. HOWEVER!! No one could hear me!! I had music up, louder than I usually do.. I got close to the mic and talked for an extended period of time.. But, no one could hear me.. Any suggestions, and I found NOTHING on the sight to adjust my mic.. Is it just me?

this is what you'll see at the bottom of your broadcast screen, have you picked a mic/adjusted the settings via this button?

I would suggest you read the entire FAQ by the way, will certainly minimalize future problems.
