Poor girl. Anxiety is a shitty, shitty thing to have to deal with and makes even the simplest (and oftentimes most important) things become more difficult than they have any right to be. As I'm finding out now, even without $30,000 a month rehab centres, it's so easy for even a relatively short ordeal with anxiety to royally fuck up your finances, leaving you struggling to make ends meet financially even after you come out the other side of it (if you're lucky enough to ever see the other side of it). I can definitely sympathise what she's going through and hope she reaches her goal.
It's also fucking crazy that a) her insurance won't cover her needs, and b) the rehab centres can justify charging such an obscene amount of money for treatment that can literally save thousands of people's lives. Bree's lucky in that she can (hopefully) raise the money she needs in a relatively short period of time without racking up debts that will affect her the rest of her life. Most people don't have that luxury. Suffering from anxiety and becoming dependent on ill-prescribed medication (in my experience, anxiety meds are just as likely to make you feel worse as they are better) is an all too common occurrence and yet the treatment for it is priced well outside of most people's means (at least in America). Tis madness, innit.
