And seriously, if your model friends are even the least bit concerned about their content being up on tube sites, send them here to this forum to learn about consequences and correct procedures for sending takedown requests.

You're doing them a disservice by doing what you're doing.

All i am doing is sending her links to any recordings i find, so she can send them to MFC.
It's find to send them to HER, it's not fine to send them directly to MFC.

Not necessarily aimed at the OP (who I'm sure a swell dood) but am I the only one who gets annoyed with all the "hey, trying to help a model friend with x, y and z" threads? I get that they're trying to help, but doods, just chill, yeah? Your "model friend" is perfectly capable of joining the forum (or any other) herself and finding this stuff out for herself. That she hasn't, leads me to conclude that she's either not bothered by whatever problem it is you percieve she has, or she's too lazy to find a solution herself and has sent you out on an errand. If you're into that, I suppose that's fine, but word to the wise, there are plenty of sexy, entertaining, self-sufficient models out there for you to enjoy, who expect nothing more of you than civility and the occasional tip.

That is not what you are doing. You even said so in your original post. MFC staff are not responding to YOU was your claim. Personally, I am surprised you got any response from MFC in the first place. People have reported much more serious issues to MFC and never received a response.

A lot of models, even ones who never come to think of them as "promotional material", go through phases of freaking out when they find out their shows have been posted, to trying to get them taken down, and then to resignation to the fact that it's not worth getting worked up about them, since there's nothing they can do to keep them from spreading. Their energy is better spent on other aspects of their lives.

Some videos posted are from bulk cappers who've already been discussed here, who don't even watch them, and upload to them to sites that ignore DMCA notices. Some videos are posted by members who target models specifically, and if their videos are taken down on one site, they'll post them on a bunch more places so that at least some of them will survive. In the first case, MFC already knows which sites are a waste of time to send DMCA notices to. In the second case, sending DMCA notices will only make the problem, if there is a problem, worse.

Totally just ROFL'd at your new signature. Well done. :)

This thread frustrated me to the point I screamed so loud my cat jumped off my lap.

I can't even begin to count how many times I've heard cappers complain about model's "white nights" sending DMCAs and then targeting said model, putting her on auto-record and auto-upload.

Yesssssssssssssssss. That's one of the worst parts of white knights. They think they're doing good, but they're making the model's job MUCH harder.

If you are referring to the site i think you are, this also happens because a member requests the model to be auto-recorded, it is also setup to record the most popular rooms.

Yeah, there's an old thread about that here somewhere. Either way, it doesn't matter why the videos are posted there. Do not engage them.

I don't know if it's the lack of coffee in my system or what, but this thread just feels like a big butthurt whine-fest. It seems the OP wanted to find out the ANSWER TO HIS ALMIGHTY QUESTION... while also looking for a bunch of slaps on the back for being so valiant.

OP: Short answer: no, MFC rarely answers premium members' emails. Unless you are trying to give them more money. Then they usually respond. As for the TOPIC of your post... The reason everyone is up in arms about it is that you said that you send the model the link (kudos), and then send MFC the link as well. However, the problem is that this could backfire for your model. A few different things could happen. She A) could want her videos left up as free advertisement (like Amber), B) might have a harder time removing the content herself as you've already started the DMCA process (they might not be sure who actually has claims to the content), or C) might end up having to wait even longer for MFC to read her emails or send the DMCAs because they are frustrated with you sending so many links already.

Sorry that no one applauded you for being such a swell guy, but there are more aspects that you haven't considered regarding this certain situation.

And to the person who posted a link to a site that submits DMCA's for you, I deleted it.

That's NOT what girls or anyone on MFC need.

This may be the most riled up I've ever seen Iris on the forum.

Once I got MFC error message when trying to take a model private. They responded with a solution within the hour.

Of course they did. :-D

LMAO that is not the case, i didnt post to say "hey look at me, I'm doing this for a model, im awesome cos im helping"

I think nearly everyone thinks i found the links and stuff to get some extra attention or something from the model.
All i was wanting to know was if anyone else had recently had a slow response from MFC staff and or about getting recordings getting takendown.

I dont know if my post wasn't written correctly to get this across or what.
but trust me i didnt come here looking to been as a hero or white knight.

Sure for some models it can be "free advertisment" but it is also can be seen as someone getting a video of a show for free. A show which others have tipped for.
Plus there are models who would rather not have videos of them camming all over the internet.

It does not matter who reports it, It is MFC's content not mine or hers, seeing as it is MFC's stream.

I sent two emails in 3 weeks, you make it sound like i spend my day and nights hunting down links to try and report them and be seen as a hero.

Yeah im a little sad that no one applauded me or called me awesome because according to most of the replies here, it seems that is apparently the reason i posted or something.

Thanks for the replying with the stuff you mentioned (the A, B, C stuff )

This is what you don't seem to understand. It DOES MATTER who reports it. Send the links to the model (if she does, in fact want them) and she can pass them along to MFC. The end.

MFC doesn't give a shit if videos are posted somewhere because it's free advertising. Unless THE MODEL sends them the link(s) and asks them to send the DMCAs, they not only don't have to care, but they don't have to respond.

I repeat: Stop sending links directly to MFC. Send them to the model so she can take care of it. If the video is still up after some time, SHE can re-send the links to MFC.

Stahp.

Leave it to the model to request the removal from MFC. I've actually been quite pissed off to find that videos of me have been removed from SOMEONE ELSE reporting them. For me (and a handful of like-minded models) it is FREE ADVERTISING on the tube sites, and should only be removed if I personally ask it to.

STAHP.

Just watch your naked chick friends on cam and use MFC for entertainment instead of turning it into a job.

A quick'un. Apparently MFC also run scripts in conjunction with things like Google to return locations of material.
In other words, they're also semi-proactive and therefore anything taken down may not be white knights/members. It may simply be MFC themselves doing it off their own bat.

If a cam girl doesn't want videos of herself "all over the internet" then she should probably find a new job. This is something that comes with the territory and cannot be avoided. I don't love that there are videos of me all over the place, but I have accepted that there's nothing to be done about it. Once you get naked on the internet it's out there forever. You can't take it back.
