I noticed MFC have added some more new payment methods, and coz I'm lazy I thought I'd post and see if anyone knows anything about them haha, I've never even heard of them!
Paxum, i-Payout/EMC2, CashX, OKPay.
Links to them are here: http://wiki.myfreecams.com/wiki/Payment ... for_Models

Alsoooo, I thought we could use this post to post what payment methods we use, and what we think of them, like if they're reliable and stuff, and which ones suck?
Sorry if that's a crap idea I've just woken up. :p

I'm not totally lazy, I am looking at them myself haha!
On cashx it says this about payment funding fees:
Bank Wire: $30.00 $30.00 $30.00
Direct Deposit: $2.00 $2.00 $2.00
Instant Banking: €4.00 EUR €4.00 EUR €4.00 EUR
Bank Transfer: $2.00 $2.00 $2.00

What's the difference between bank wire, direct deposit, internet banking and bank transfer? I would have thought they would have been the same thing?

Ohhh duh, just realised that's on about putting money into the account, not taking it out, so I'm not bothered about that anyway lol.
But bank wire, instant banking and bank transfer are all on the withdrawel options page too.

Obviously, they did this because of the wire transfer issues that have been talked about in another thread and the lack of other options for those outside of the USA with ePassporte going under.

If any model is looking at those places as options, they just need to do their research first and see if the company is legit and reliable.

Wire transfer is directly from the one bank to the other, can be done between any sort of account.

Direct Deposit can only be done from employer to employee.

I'm not being super lazy, I will look into them myself, but I mean like, sometimes people have experience of things themselves that might help?

From looking at them all without signing up, okpay looks the best coz they've got a little santa in the corner. :D No one else has added anything christmassy to their site, haha.

And I think they look quite cheap for doing a wire transfer too, although I might have got it wrong, I think that means you can send the money from your account, to your bank? It says 1%, min. £7 ** for the UK, whereas all the others seemed to have just one fee of $50 or whatever, which wouldn't be good if you had less than that in the first place! Although I'm not good at percentages so that might end up being lots, hmmm.
Andddd it says at the bottom of their site: Copyright © 2007–2010 OKPAY Inc. All rights reserved.
So would that mean, they've been around for 3 years? So maybe they'd be more trustworthy, and maybe people might know more about them, hmmm.

Actually I'm wrong again about the transfer thing, lol the ** says this:
** Minimal bank transfer allowed to withdraw is €150 EUR / $150 USD. Bank charges are paid by the sender.

So is 1% of a balance more than the other sites charging $50 for a withdrawel by bank?

I think my googling skills are as bad as my reading skills haha. I've been googling xcash, okpay and paxum and can't really find much about them. Maybe I'm searching for the wrong things though, hmm.

I really hope this is the right thread for my question, I found it on the search...

Does anyone have any idea when CashX will have their payment processing issues fixed?

I've been on MFC for a month and I haven't received any money yet. (That's partly due to my own stupidity, though; at first, I choose bank wire transfer as a payment method - when I read that the minimum payout for banks outside the US is $1000, I switched to CashX because I wanted to get money sooner.)

Should I switch to another payment method again or do you think they'll have solved their issues by September 16th?
I'm really kind of lost right now, I made quite a lot of money during that first month and I'd really like to have it. I need it.

That option is only available for models from the US or Canada :icon-cry:

Anyone have any experience with this payment processor OKPay? I'm really curious if it is a good option? I guess Payoneer gets a lot of references here but what about Alertpay?

Well good luck to all it trying to figure these things out!

I think Alertpay isn't a good solution at all...
It only lets you keep $400 there until you upgrade to a business account, and if you do that... well, I'm going to quote my post from the "Alertpay any good?" thread in the Ask-a-model section:

I upgraded to a business account and it says,

Your unverified account has limitations

Total Deposit Remaining: €745.00 EUR
Total Withdrawal Remaining: €75.00 EUR

Does that mean I can only send 75 Euros from my Alertpay account to my bank account? Are you kidding me?!

To get verified I have to complete some difficult procedures which I'm not sure I really want to do.
I guess Alertpay just sucks.

I used MFC's normal bank wire transfer to get my money the middle of September, but outside of the US that only works if you've made more than $1000. I'd like to get money more often, though. Without having to wait until I've made $1000.
What other method could I use that's safe?
I don't know if CashX is working again..

I'd love any advice regarding possible methods, or regarding the question if CashX is back to normal now.
As you can see I'm pretty confused. :(

I am not sure what you have done to your AlertPay account Lily :( Sorry you are having issues.

I have found AlertPay to be great, as well as several other models. The key is signing up for the business account and ticking off the "sole proprietor" box to be sure you do not have to provide them any business documents. Good Luck!

I ticked the sole proprietor box and they still wanted me to choose a 'business category' - I don't even know what I clicked there.

Now, when I log in, this appears:

When I click "Become Verified", this appears:

I don't know what the hell I'm supposed to do.

When I chose my category I believe I ticked of web sales/services. You will have to verify your acct with bank, CC info.

You may be getting that last business document verification due to what category you chose. Do not choose any category that is associated with adult services.

But that's not available :(
You can choose "Internet and Network Services", though.
I'm creating a new account right now and if you click Sole Proprietorship, and choose Internet and Network Services as a category, it looks like this:

What should i choose as a sub-category?

update: I choose "Messaging and e-mail services" as a sub-category and now they STILL want me to verify the account. And when want to do that by trying to add a bank account, they accept all kinds of random countries like Martinique, Estonia and Reunion, but not Germany, which is where my bank account is and where I live.

WTF. :angry4:

Screw it.
I'll find some other method.

I would try web design, but honestly I am not sure. Is there no other category to choose from either than internet and network services?

- No, the only internet related category is "Internet and Network services". Do you really not remember what you choose? :/ Did you have to verify anything?
