this actually happened to me.

i was hanging out in a room where im a regular and a model just asked me why i was in her room and even went as far as to say what i tipped her in the past... so idk if theres some sort of software or what. so idk if its still on MFC but just saying a model just pulled that crap on me

Nope, no software. Though she could have been poking into other model's rooms and seen you tip, or another member in her room could have seen you tip someone and snitched on you. Either way, it's a crappy thing to do, and a good indicator that it's time to put that model on ignore. :thumbleft:

Re: MFC Model Software Allows Models to See Member Activitie

yea but i tip anonymously so its kinda weird that she would know the exact token amount. especially when i have my tokens hidden from models. idk it just kinda weirded me out and made me angry because she was like "well you have so n so this much so why dont you give me that".

Keep in mind that models do talk to one another. I personally don't find it terribly appropriate to discuss exact specifics with anyone, but that doesn't mean some models won't.

Re: MFC Model Software Allows Models to See Member Activitie

Yea but it's still weird because they never even heard of eachother. And it's not the first time it's happened. It happened to me a few years ago too except the model wasn't being hostile about it it was more of a "hehe I see you in so n so room"

That's your cue to never go back to that model's room, yo :thumbleft:

And yeah, it's not likely to be software. Some models like to screencap tips/tip notes and post them on Twitter for reasons that aren't entirely clear to me, so it could be that. Or if it was a big tip, you might have made a model's "high tip list" on her profile. Or it could just be two models talking to one another.

Re: MFC Model Software Allows Models to See Member Activitie

I wonder also if your tokens were hidden. If not it's best to do so, but yes...I personally wouldn't go back to someone like that. Of course this doesn't explain how she knew you were in another model's room, but she would know when you tipped. Who know maybe another member told her.

There absolutely are members who will do this. Had it happen to me. I assume it's some weird kinda online jealousy thing, but it's rather fucked up.

Re: MFC Model Software Allows Models to See Member Activitie

I've had models tell me the exact amount of tokens/points I have even if i'm not in their room. So some of them at least have a way to see your info without you being in their room, maybe they are using an older version of the software or something.

Models can always see how many tokens/rewards points you have, you don't have to be in their room.
However, what we cannot see is where/on whom you are spending them.
Just hide tokens/rewards points! There's really no point in having it showing.

I asked a bunch of models about this and some said they could and some said they couldn't. I guess the one's who couldn't didn't know how or were lying lol.

If we can click your name, we can see your info. Maybe those girls didn't have you in their friend list, or misunderstood your question.

Edit to add:
Here's what we see on our end. There's a small info panel under our tokens that appears when we click on anyone. I can select to view more info, and that panel to the right pops up. See there are tabs on the panel, one of which is "tokens". Those only show tokens the person has spent on us (and how long ago their last tip to us was). We can also pull up our PM history on the last tab, and add notes that can be viewed on the that tab. Pretty handy!

Thanks Amber, so if a model has me on their friend list they can check my tokens at any time even while not in their room, that explains a lot.

Unless you hide them in your account options. :thumbleft:

For me, at this point in time, this type of behavior would immediately result in deletion from my friends list. I've learned the hard way that anytime a camgirl starts acting jealous and possessive, it can't end well.

Example #1 - Established, very highly ranked camgirl whose room I had visited maybe 2 or 3 times. On my first visit I think, I made an innocent reference to "other cam girls," and one of her regulars corrected me saying, "There are no other camgirls." Maybe a week later popped into her room again and immediately she began to grill me in public chat, "You were online for hours last night. Why didn't you ever come into my room?" I've now learned that type of behavior is like a signal to her regulars that it's okay to be rude to you because you've stepped out of line and offended their goddess.

Example #2 - Newer camgirl who has recently risen quite high in the ranks. When I started to visit her room less frequently, she started asking me questions like, "Where have you been spending all your tokens?" and "Is she prettier than me?" She would also check to see how many tokens I had with me at the time, and then would make "helpful suggestions" on how I could spend those tokens in her room.

Basically, it's as if just because you've visited their rooms x number of times, or have spent x amount of time in their rooms, they believe that you (or to be more exact, your tokens) now belong to them. So at that point you can't win. If you stop spending x number of tokens in their room, or x amount of time, they will always be upset with you. And if you try to appease them, all that will do is set a new benchmark that they will then try to hold you to. The best thing to do is to just delete them from your friends list, hide their profiles while you're online, and never ever return to their chat rooms again.

Does this really happen? That's my camland nightmare personified (especially the last paragraph).
I guess I just got lucky enough to have chosen some great models to be regulars too, so I don't run into that behavior.

Um, yeah, I'm afraid it does really happen. Guess I need to improve my judgment regarding which cam girls to follow.

Ambercutieforums members.
You can search "ACF" on myfreecams and it will show all models that use that tag (3rd list from the top after searching). By the way I highly recommend any ACF models reading this that don't have that tag to add it!
