Is anyone having problems with bandwidth? Since I've started using the browser to broadcast, my bandwidth seems terrible and I get lots of people saying that I'm choppy/frozen when it doesn't look that way to me. When I run a speedtest on speedtest.net, my Dl speeds is 70mbps and upload is over 6. I can't figure out why this happening but it's every time I go online and sooo annoying! :( :(

I was having the same exact problem cammi.
On my end it looked fine, but the chat would freeze up. And when I would restart and I can see the refreshed chat with all the missing conversation that I had no clue was going on. I could hear the tip noises but the chat was all frozen. So I think they could still see n hear me. but I am not sure, cause some guys were like hey, whats going on where she go? and others knew I was refreshing every time it froze on me.
I am not sure if it is 100% fixed but I uninstalled Chrome and re installed it. It seems to work better now.

I'm still having that issue where I'll click the button to start broadcasting, and the cam screen keeps sitting there on 'Connecting'. Then I have to close my chat and then do it once more for it to work. It's not a BIG deal...it's just annoying.

And it's still showing people on my friends list as 'online' when I know for a fact that they've logged off. I'll pm them, and it will instantly say 'This user is offline'.

Yeah mine does this almost every night, sometimes I have to reload it a few times. Other than the minor bugs, I love the web broadcaster, though.

Is anyone still having the room count issue? Just wondering.

Also, Amber mentioned the font size:
"3. I was hoping to be able to change the text size, but didn't see an option for it.
Fixed! It's an option in the settings panel."

Is there a way that you know of, to make everyone's font appear bigger but without changing their style and color? I used to hit ctrl and scroll in and out in the model software, but when I do it on chrome it also increases the size of my cam display and everything else. I just want to be able to see what the members are saying when I'm not so close to my screen.
Thanks! :)

So Amber's testing it out as we speak. So far it's OK, apart from a couple of bugs that Amber will be telling MFC about. One bug that we're kinda wondering if other models trying it out are having is the sound dropping out. It doesn't go away completely, just fades out and comes back a couple of seconds later. Are any of you trying the web based client or any model you know of who's trying it out having the same problem?

Yes Omg i am having major problems with this what the heck can I do my sound goes from nothing to low to good to high and ive had ALOT of complaints would ubuying a seperate microphone solve the issue??

I had a customer rudely tell me to stop playing games with my sound as it would go from no sound , to low sound to good sound, and then he told me is catching another bus....ugh...I have tried clicking on it like left clicking i have a macbook on the sound to make sure it stops doing it so far nothing is working and it affecting my camscore big time any help would be so greatly appreciated thanks guys!!

I have the same issues regarding the audio in my room. I have no idea what the problem is!? Lots of times people say my audio is going in or out. They also say I am frozen when on my end I am not so I can't tell. By the time I realize I am frozen half the people in my room have already left.

Hope MFC resolves these problems ASAP.

I thought I already helped in this post here: viewtopic.php?p=136475#p136475 But also make sure you're using the mic attached to the Logitech 9000 camera and not a built in mic. (If you follow my instructions, you can check that there, too.)

Built into your laptop? Yeah, those mics suck. Get a Logitech 9000 if you don't have one already (or the C910) and use the mic that is built in to that. AND make sure the mic settings on the broadcaster are using the correct one, and "reduce background noise" is off.

@ AmberCutie...so as of now cant afford a logitech yet....would you suggest staying offline untill I can afford one?? I think thats what I will have to do. i have a check from mfc coming in the mail...till then im screwed LOL, and my camscore is suffering...its in the 600's :crybaby: lol oh yea but for some reason my skpye is working fine like the built in mic is working fine on skpye just on this broadcasting thingy its sucking....

By the way, the audio issue I was having was due to Logitech's stupid software resetting my "rightsound" option to ON. NEVER use rightsound. It's wrongsound, fer sure.

Hey Amber I did as you suggested and got a logitech i got the C910 so ok last night I spent waay to much time in my room just trying to get the damn thing to broadcast on the adobe broadcaster it let me use the mic for some reason?? but when it came to the video camera it would only pic up my built in i sight I set it up properly it was working I could see my logitech on and broadcasting, I tried restarting my pc a couple times, NADA..I was pretty sad after all I wanted to put my new HD to work, Ok Ill be the first to admit I dont know shit about computers Im using a macbook OS X...and if anyone knows how I do it that would be so much appreciated GOD Im such a boob... :crybaby: lol.....I just feel like a dumbass do I need windows for mac or something now?? cuz that would totally f'n blow its like 200 and im not secure in my caming to spend that much..and Ive invested quite a bit for my budget into caming. thanks again :D

I am having the same problem with audio in and out and i have logitech910. I emailed support and they told me to go to settings and adjust my volume. Really??? Gee I never thought of that LMAO. hahaahhhaha funny... emailed them like three or four days ago and didnt get ANY response......COME on mfcams lol....even after I got my new c910 and the mic is the only darn thing thats working on adobe the volume is still going up and down but it doesnt say off anymore....thats a step up .........

Ok ladies so I took the problem into my own hands cant do anything right unless you do it yourself hahaahhahah.. joking wink :) I called logitechs tech support they are super helpful and nice so it was great I solved the problem I THINK fingers crossed I went into my photo booth on my macbook and clicked on the camera options then it gave me the built in isight option and there was my logitech camera..so I clicked on it and now in my photo booth for mac its broadcasting my logitech .....also you have to see if your mac is even detecting the devicce for that you go into the apple button and click about this mac then click more options on the right drop down there is an usb button click there and it should show you all the programs that are being detected by the usb, the tech support guy suggested to install chrome or fire fox as I have safari and he says they have alot more glitches and what not hope this helps someone else in their journey to get their logitech camera broadcasting PEACE Y'ALL lol

UGH same!!! I emailed MFC support and all Kevin could really say was that my connection is going in and out (I know this) and to try to be closer to my internet router (I am in the same room as it). I am also on a Macbook Pro and have that problem of the mic getting quieter until I have no sound, and then I have to switch it between built in input and default to get it to come back on. And then it does it again. For my whole show. >.< Even when my connection is good it does this.

As Amber said, the built in mics on laptops are craptastic. They either pick up too much, or not enough.

For Mac using models, be aware the C910 is the highest Logitech supported cam on OS X. But, even then, the support and software for OS X pale in comparison to the Windows versions.

Now, if you find a C910 a bit expensive (I think it's right around $100), the slightly cheaper C615 is also supported by the Logitech software on OS X (I think it's is closer to $70). It's obviously not as good as a C910, but it is still a decent HD cam for OS X. It also has a built in mic which I tend to find picks up a LOT of background noise. However, the advantage of that is that it means it won't sound like your mic is cutting in and out. The disadvantages, though, would be if anything in your camming area is making noise, including your computer's fan, it may very well pick it all up.

Is this still the case? I am getting a MAC and i have the Logitech c930 now... I havent gotten the mac yet to be able to try anything but i am trying to research as much as possible to get mine to work when it arrives so i have no issues... Since this threat is very old now, i wanted to know if anything is new updated or different since when all of this was posted?!

Me and my friend tried to cam on her laptop (MAC) Lastnight, with the c910 on the browser broadcasting however, everything would work minus it would not find the webcam or mic to connect to it showed all blank like there was nothing plugged in :(
And everything had been installed?

C930 is compatible with Mac, this thread is just older than the c930 ;)
