MFC advertising should alarm it's models

A little perspective here.

First of all you ARE stupid to pay if you if ALL you want is a naked girl to wank to. You can find that 24/7/365 not only at MFC, but all over the interwebs. Those people are going to be there no matter how the site is marketed.

Hell, that's how I found the site in the first place. I could have remained a guest forever and gotten exactly that anytime I wanted. Then after lurking in some rooms, I decided that it might actually be FUN to interact with the model and you can't really do that with most models as a guest or basic. Since, I have "met" some really cool people on MFC and here.

Volume, volume, volume. That's the name of the game. Without the free angle, I may have never found the site, never became a premium member, never spent a dime on any of the lovely models. Of course for everyone like me (and quite frankly most of the members that are here at ACF), there are thousands who just want the free wank. But without that, you never get the ones that actually become contributing members.

Lol precisely, it's marketing and psychology, and exactly the same tactic they use to promote Free2Play games. Sure, they're free to play...but once you're hooked and you want the really good stuff you'll get your wallet out.

Saying "this site is completely free and you're stupid to pay for porn ever again" is actually saying: "our site is free so you're stupid to go to other sites". Another tactic it uses is the psychology of getting something for free, and it's a very powerful one. What percentage of average guys who watch that video etc do you think actually ask themselves "hey, how can this be free? Who pays for the site hosting? How do the camgirls make a living? Hell, how is this marketing site even running - who would make this video if it's all free?". Not many.

MFC is free, if that's how you want to use the site. There will always be shows/nudity in public happening, always. 24/7. BUT, if you want to call the shots, have a specific girl strip, masturbate, smear your choice-of-fetish condiment on her hoohaa and not wait for others to tip then yes, you'll have to pay - but the marketing site doesn't need to specify all that; you'll find out after you joined up and have tits in your face clouding your judgement.

IDK.. sure the law of percentages and numbers can apply. BUT, it seems from what I've seen, many of the premiums are now holding off tipping simply BC there are so many that are beggers and freeloaders that dont now. I was in a room the other day. I was one of 2 premiums for over an hour... The poor girl had average room numbers of over 100.. yet only 2-3 premiums. The 40 or so basics were having their own party talking about ball games and such with a beg tossed in every few lines .... She did mute them all for awhile but with only 3 of us chatting, it got slow fast.
I also notice here.. you girls with nice cam scores seem to fully favor the marketing tactic. The thing is, there are so many on MFC that aren't in the top 50-75 and struggle with their few loyal regs only to have traffic come and sit in silence never tipping.
IMHO mfc should consider a time limit for sitting in a room if you aren't a prem. Make it a bit aggravating for the waiting for free show assholes. Make them jump through a hoop or 2 to get back to a room. That would encourage them to become prem if for no other reason than to avoid the extra navigating.... :twocents-02cents:

Also, if the prems are the one time buy $20, they need prodding as well. I've seen cams turned on the models screen to show member stats. The numbers of noobs with no tokens and the one time purchase points were the majority in some places.

As much as it saddens me to put this in writing I was a guest and a basic for several hours. Most if not all premiums are all so from common roots. If you ever garden one slender green shoot looks like another to the untrained eye. It is up to the model to cull the weeds and nurture the flowers.

Part of the skill set for a lower ranked model is talking guests into becoming basics and basics into becoming premiums. For her to be able to do this she needs a steady supply of raw material to work with. If you make things too hard all the freeloaders will just drift to greener pastures.

If a guest or basic is one of the scummy ones then it should not be that hard to tell. Can you tell the difference between "open bobz bb" and "Hello my name is xxxxxxx how are you today." While they both may be scummy one may be worth talking to to feel out.

In games, the freemium model has totally succeeded (and while most of these gamers are teenagers, a lot are in the 20s - 40s: With more money.). And it seems it is doing in many types of business. IMHO, is a new style of making money, and extremely successful in many cases. Grab the people's attention not just like it was done before (free trial, free first 5 days, etc) , because people learnt to avoid that... They want completely free stuff, even while being a basic version of whatever it is, for practically everything. The absolute fact is that people ends up putting crazy loads of money when they are engaged enough with the community/system/roles, whatever. As I say, in video games, in apps or online software services, it works like charm. A lot of business of all types are heading there. I kind of feel... disturbing to see this done with cam women as well... specially for some expressions used. But if we are debating the practical sense of it all for the models, for me it's pretty clear. This system might benefit them quite. As indeed, attracts loads of people.(among them, many payers)

I hate to say it... but most of the time when I go to MFC now I don't login to my account.

When I login I get bombed by models in PM's who I don't even remember talking to before. They start off with "Hi BB!" then if I ignore them some of them start getting rude.

And then there are other girls if I go into their room I am not even there for 30 seconds when I get messages telling me to tip them or get the fuck out of their room. I don't even get a chance to start a conversation with the girl. I have even been banned from rooms for not tipping within a few second and I never got to say a thing.

I will say though that most of the girls that do this are NOT American girls.

So to solve these issues, I don't login and no one bugs me. And normally if I am patient I see what I want to see for free.

Now the only time I log in is if I see a girl and I want to talk to her... then I log in and then take them private.
