Anyone else watch the show? I find it very interesting but honestly seems a bit staged. How they can be going so great one week then everything goes to hell the next. In past seasons I would really root for the couples. Cortney and Jason are probably my favorite couple out of all the shows. I couldn't believe what kind of trooper Doug was how hard Jamie made it on him that season. I never liked Monet just something rubbed me the wrong way about her. Season 2 I really couldn't get behind any of the couples. I came around on Jaclyn but then Ryan screwed everything up in the end.

This past season you could tell that Ashley was never going to give David a fair shot. She was hung up on looks and never gave him a chance. Then the phone call that gave her the easy out. Neil just seemed like a ax murderer really strange guy. But Sam came around in the end only to be rejected. Vanessa and Tres I would have bet anything they would stick together. His excessive drinking would have been a huge issue for me. But overall he seemed like a good guy and Vanessa was a sweetheart with a few hang ups of her own.

Would any of you girls go on a show like that? The running jokes about members being ax murderers and so on. But would you go and marry a complete stranger? That someone else thought was your perfect match. I don't know if I could.

I've caught a few episodes late at night and it's definitely a potential guilty pleasure. I think it's important to remember that all reality shows are staged to some degree and very carefully edited to produce a specific image. You just have to take them with a grain of salt.

I wouldn't go on any type of dating show. I'm not the type that wants or needs a relationship. Additionally realoty show contracts state they can edit/cut/splice/voice over any footage they want to. To edit you any way you want. No thanks.

That being said Sam was very loud and obnoxious in my opinion. Neil was the same way so I never saw them as a good fit.

Ashley was awful. She thinks she's a lot more attractive than she actually is. What's funny is initially watching I was worried HE wouldn't find HER attractive. He was the more attractive one in my opinion and I generally find women way more attractive than men.

Did he do the wrong thing with the message to the other girl? Absolutely BUT at that point she had been rejecting him forever and I wouldn't have even lasted as long as he did.

This season seemed way more staged than the first season. The least staged seemed to be season 2 but it was really crazy to find out about all the behind the scenes stuff. The Coke habit...the death threats...the prior records. I couldn't take the show or "experts" seriously after that. The nurse dude is clearly gay. The one guy was a raging violent Coke head...and it drove me batty that they didn't let the women defend themselves.

Ashley sure had a inflated self view of herself. I would agree that David was the better looking of the two. As she was the least attractive out of all the girls so far on the show. Who knows what the truth was about the message. I'm sure they played it up and edited so it would paint him in the worse light possible like Autumn pointed out.

I never heard about the coke habit. Not much for dirt sheets or social media. But Ryan D was the first person who jumped into my head when you said that. You really think Sean was gay? I kind of see Davina in the same light as Ashley never really giving him a fair chance. It was really great seeing the relationship Ryan had with his niece. Seemed like a good guy and thought once Jacyln turned the corner it would workout. But maybe she was more woman than he could handle.

There is actual legal documents that prove it with Ryan. It's sad. The problem with season 2 is that they cast people who simply wanted to be famous and didn't actually want marriage.

I think it was hard for Davina because she knew the behind the scenes stuff...which they obviously didn't show us...and she was silenced. I can imagine how frustrating that would be.

By far I think Vanessa and Doug have been the most genuine of all the contestants. So it's no surprise to me that they are 2 of the 3 succesful couples.

I'm actually glad that Jamie was so pretty. That sounds superficial but hear me out. She quite obviously has a lot of damage from her childhood...and Doug obviously had some self esteem issues. I think their issues bounced well off each other. I think Doug having such a pretty wife gave him back some of his self esteem...and I think Jaime having such a doting husband made her feel worthy of love...and made her feel secure. I think those things gave them the ability to work through their issues within themselves...and over time fall in love. It really was amazing to watch...even seeing through the voice overs, splicing, etc. Just watching how he cared for her when she would be hurting over her family was amazing to watch...

What behind the scenes stuff did they silence Davina on? Did she actually know Sean was a gay man who just went on the show for fame?

My absolute fav is Courtney and Jason. The way she supported him through his mom passing away and going through school was truly great. Though I think he should have given into her desire to move south close her her family. Doug is a trooper for sure. He might be a 4-5 and his wife is a 7-8 but who cares. She got the love and support she so desperately needed and he won her over in the end. You don't always need the 6 pack, yoked millionare princess when you have a loving toad willing to do anything for you.

Yeah I happen to think Doug is very good looking. But I'm attracted to "normal" guys.

Yeah I think she found out very early on....and was quite frustrated. Perhaps he had hoped she would be in on the plan and hope for a continuing show like the first season.

But I also think she was an alpha female...so she never would have went along with anything that wasn't HER plan.

I also love Court and Jason...I just hope Court is in a better place. She definitely seemed quite depressed at one point:/

Might have be a little tough on ole Doug's looks. I meant to say prince not princess but it made sense both ways lol :blackeye:.

She definitely wore the pants in the relationship. Same as Jaclyn with other Ryan. But one moment was crazy. When she started crying on the honeymoon. But she expected Sean to know exactly why she was crying after knowing her for only a few days.

Forget what had Courtney so down? Was it about her job stuff or wanting to be closer to her family? Or was it something at was not on the show.

I think she lost herself in the marriage. She stopped doing her burlesque...she gained some weight and she missed her family. Plus Jason was always gone:/

Did she stop because he had asked her? Or just thought she should as a married woman? Or just got to busy. Didn't she want to do something as a makeup artist?
