Not that having a button makes that much difference since all sites have a way to report abuse as required by the law. Now, CB might be under additional scrutiny (and be more likely to jump the gun) since they allow unverified people to stream as 'exhibitionists'.. I wouldn't be surprised if they get a lot more scrutiny and fake reports because of that.

But having a button gives trolls an easy and fast opportunity. They dont need to email support and make up a story.

Make up a story? You are over-complicating it - all it takes is something like "Hey folks, model X looks underage. Are you sure they are above 18?".. And it took me less than 10 seconds to type that.

It still takes a lot more effort than just clicking a button. I report tweets sometimes but I doubt I'd ever do that if i had to email, lol.

As an example: I report dick avatars cause they're against Twitter's TOS, and you can't do it through the normal report option, so it's a pain in the ass. There's a specific page you have to go to, paste in the username, and click a few more buttons. It's tedious as fuck, so I usually wait until there's a few piled up in my followers. A lot of people don't even know that this is something you can do, so they just block dick avatars and be done with it.

When a report is made, Chaturbate has a team of people that check the ID for validity, watch the cam(s) of the person in question and they look at still photos associated with that user name. Then a group decision is made on whether the broadcaster "looks too young" according to the laws and details associated with the 18 USC section 2257 concerning adult performers (this includes images such as a woman wearing pigtails and playing with stuffed animals, if you can imagine.... ) In some cases, the decision is that the broadcaster does appear to be too young, regardless of the ID stating otherwise.

What a lot of B.S a whole Team of people to check it if this is your procedure for EVERY time a model gets reported as "underaged" you must be flooded with fake report thanks to the report abuse button. Now we know why CB support is too busy to reply and give proper support answers and this forum has people coming here as a last resort to get their issue resolved.

People not logged in should NOT be able to report using the button, their only option should be "contact support"

MFC and other sites do not rely on customers policing the site.

Why does the report abuse button not have a captcha? that alone would cut down on fake reports
