lounge 1000?

I've read the wiki about lounge but i'm still confused on what it offers to models.

i've only been online four days and i have someone asking if i'd like to go into lounge 1000.

what exactly is it, i guess i'm slow but i honestly don't understand how its different? idk..

is it better for getting tips and private sessions? if so i'm game. lol i've been doing good. i've made 1018 tokens this week so far doing 5 hours so i'm pretty happy.

sorry if i'm a repeat i can't seem to find a thread to answer my questions sadly went through a few on here with little to no avail.

Only premium member account holders can go into the lounges on MFC, where it is possible to chat with other premium members and also view model video streams.

Main lounge is a room open to all premium members.
Lounge 1000 is only open once you have reached 1,000 reward points... ie you have purchased at least 10,000 tokens on the site.
Similarly, Lounge 10000 is only accessible once you have reached 10,000 reward points... ie. bought 100,000 or more tokens.

The only way for someone to let you *into* Lounge 1,000 is for them to give you the password to an account with 1,000+ reward points. Some members let models use their alternate accounts, and some even give models tokens to spend.

Lounge 1,000 is just about the same as the regular Lounge, except with fewer members and they think they're better than the people in the regular Lounge. Lounge 10,000 has still fewer members, and is pretty quiet compared to the other two lounges. It certainly has less spam than the other two.

Some (few) models that have member accounts and are fairly happy to spend their time off sometimes perving on other models while hanging out with members in the lounges - Lounge, Lounge 1000, Lounge 10000 - are very welcome in these member-dominated areas.

Please be aware however you're going to need a thick skin - it's anything goes and people will be assholes, opinionated, ignorant and sometimes hilarious, but I have seen and known models (Amber used to come to the lounge on her member account if I remember correctly) who have a great time in the lounge and I would say very likely pick up some extra tippers, but to go in there looking for tippers is obviously the wrong attitude. Just have fun if you go, and if you get extra business then so much the better.

99% of models never openly visit the lounge and do fine, so obviously it's very, very optional.

I'm not so sure. Funnily enough, I got an alt account *into* L1k mostly off one model after first seeing her linked in the lounge.

I think it is prolly the case, that yes the member was asking permision to pimp the model (Rosa_1347) in 1K. (by "pimp the model" I mean posting the model's name ((in Lounge, L1K, L10K)) linking to her room, and maybe something said promoting her.) If this is the case, the member had enough sense to ask you first, and whether or not it ever is of any benefit to the model, this member thought it could be, and wanted to try to do something to help you.

I would agree that the vast majority of the time someone pimps a model in L, L1K, L10k, that he/she is not doing the model any favour, and will not generate any extra tokens for said model, but I have to disagree that it never does any good. I do not offer to do this for models any longer. Mostly b/c it all most never is worth the time, but for other reasons having to do with not getting in a model's business. This was not always the case though, as I used to do it quite often. Only twice did this do any good that I know of, but it did work once to bring a good tipping 1K member to a model's room, and the other time the member actually became one of the model's regulars for a while. So it can help some times, if only rarely, though it is a practice best avoided IMhO. (Also one could reason that whatever chance it does have of working, that it is more likely to work better in 1K than lounge, and better yet in 10K than 1K for obvious reasons.)

As to the advantages of a Model hanging out in the lounges, I think they can be great. I do not think there are very many models who have the tolerance and right personality make up to pull it off, but I have seen it done with very good results. The example I'm referring to was a Dutch model who has gone by a few different names. At one point a few years ago she spent
quite a bit of time in 1K, (she was a known reg to 1K), and it drew me to her room. I visited her quite a bit for a year or so, and I don't think I was ever in her room when the majority of the other members there were not 1K regulars. For this patronage she had to deal with a lot of construction worker misogynistic bullshit, but she did it quite well. She was as big an asshole as the best in 1K and this seemed to buy her a good deal of comradery. As well as most of her income.

I would say the use of the lounges by a model can work in her favour as much as it can work against her.
Members using it to help a model, would usually benefit more by focusing on enjoying her in her room.
But I wanted to mention some other things the lounge is good for.

I like to use the lounge for completely secret tipping. In a lounge you can be watching and show minimal presence (a name showing you are online on her friends list at most).
For meeting new models an anonymous public tip from the lounge might be a way to decide if you want to visit her.
For a model you know and love, the lounge can be a good addition to spoiling her with minimum or maximum distraction (the choice being the members').

The lounges are a good place to explore who is being talked about too. It is usually pretty nasty talk, and links are to the current action. But look beyond that, and you sometimes find some interesting models, members, and topics.
