LiveJasmin Couple Shows

Hi everyone

I'm new to all of this. (Cam sites, cam modeling, etc.) I started off on MyFreeCams a month ago and made a little money in a few days but then I stopped because I want to do couple shows with my boyfriend instead. We're not sure if we want to have full on sex on cam but do other things. MyFreeCams do not allow males on their site so I'm turning over to LiveJasmin. Has anyone here dealt with them before? It says on their website that they give up to 55% share but I'm hearing that they really only give you 30%... which isnt very much.. so if anyone could please give us some tips, pointers, advice for two newbies... we would greatly appreciate it!

I've personally never used LJ but I've heard nothing but awful stuff about them from both model's and users. I'd suggest Skin Video.

You'll earn 90% of your tips as opposed to half, girls and guys are allowed on cam and you can even do your shows in public if you want since everything is allowed in public. Although, LJ has a bigger user base than Skin Video, but's because their cam section is fairly new, if you can be entertaining and hold people's attention then it shouldn't be a problem getting tips. The one downside to SV is you cannot block certain states, if you don't care, though, then have fun! I've heard nothing else negative about it!

It's 80% if you buy the 20$ package, but 90% if you buy their 80$ package.

I believe the best I've heard about livejasmin is that is legitimate... which isn't saying much

I would also recommend streamate.com

They allow for couples, and while the payout is a low percentage (35% EEP!) you still end up with more in the end. SkinVideo is a relatively new site, and as such, is a bit low on traffic for anyone who can't bring a fanbase with them, but I TOTALLY recommend hitting it up. Right now, I'm doing the alternating thing, because while I'd rather work exclusively SkinVideo, I'd miss some of the features of MFC and my fanbase is still discovering that I'm back, forget about following me elsewhere x.x

Can you create your own rate per minute on skin video? If the payout on streamate is only 35% how do you still end up with more in the end? Does anyone know if couple shows make good money?

I'm thinking you'd make moreon Streamate because with SkinVideo being not even a year old, unless you already have fans it might be hard to make as much even though they have a higher pay out than Streamate.

I think Streamate and LiveJasmin have the same percentage share.. so since I've already been approved on LiveJasmin, I will check it out first and see how it goes. Once I get some fans I will try to move over to SkinVideo. Does anyone know how I can change my profile on here to say "Cam Model" and not noob? lol. Or does the admin have to do it?

Models from other cam sites:
1. Create a username for the forum if you haven't already. Use one of your model names or a Twitter name so you may be easier to recognize and find.

2. Send me a PM on the forum with a link to your profile on the cam site.

3. Make a verification pic post here viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2286

4. I will approve you as soon as I can. Your name will be purple, and you will be able to enter the Models Only section once I've upgraded you. I sometimes reply to the PM when this is done, but I don't usually get to it. Just check back here!

I think that from all major sites, MFC is the only one that doesn't allow couple shows. So, you have a long list where you can cam, but obviously not all are good.

LiveJasmin can be a jungle for some models and you can have a hard time there. But as you have been approved there, give a try. Streamate seems more "soft" (maybe because guests can't talk) and the members tend to spend more. At least it is what some models told me. And it is the best place if you have a HD webcam and high speed connection.

Give some time to SkinVideo and it can be the best place for you in the future. If you are planning to sell videos, maybe you could do on SkinVideo. Can anyone confirm that models get the same % on videos as on private/tips?

We make 50% of videos sold on SkinVideo, but personally, most of my buyers are people who either don't have time to see me on cam as much as they want or people who've barely heard of me and like me so far. Some of them are people I don't even know and who have never bought tokens, but not many.

The 50% is worth the extra bit of people who wouldn't have bought them if it wasn't for the site, plus, I'm still selling them to where I'd get the same amount of buck out of it.

We just finished our promo time on LJ (at like .98 cents per min), but I literally feel like I'm being RAPED money wise on there.
After the promo was over we did one private and made hardly nothing back. We will more than likely give it a shot again but I'm really interested in doing couple stuff on SkinVideo or on Skype. If anyone does couple shows on the side please send me a message on how to work this out because I'm confused as hell. I got a Payoneer card/account because I heard PayPal will freeze your account and take your money if they find out your getting money for something sex related.

My intuition tells me that you're probably right about that. It's sort of like famous actresses getting topless. Mainstream actresses aren't necessarily any hotter than your average hardcore porn star, but when actresses get nekkid, people go nuts with excitement. Similarly, when members have a chance to see a model do something she doesn't normally do, there's a peak in interest. But the novelty will wear off if you do it all the time.
