Screen shot 2016-08-24 at 6.24.57 PM.png just as a heads up people may not be able to read articles in the washington post. And I am not switching devices. But I'm pretty sure this proposal already got shot down. I would however be interested in hearing thoughts on Obama's plan for October 1st regarding the internet...

It was shot down in June, but as the article states, they are planning on voting on it again.

Guy, you need to stop trying to stir up hysteria with these silly posts. Maybe if you went back to planning your graduation party, you wouldn't have time for this nonsense.

I really appreciate Guy's threads. If he didn't start so many threads, then the boards would be a much quieter place - and I have seen some interesting discussions bloom out of "pointless" posts.

If you find the threads a bit too numerous or pointless, then it is the perfect time to create your own interesting threads for everyone else to participate in!

I know that I personally have maybe created one or two threads in my entire time on ACF - so I really appreciate when others take the initiative and post articles or thoughts that make me think, even for a moment. I'm always worried people won't find my threads interesting, so I don't make them, but I really enjoy it when others do!

I also appreciate Guy's threads. I've seen many forums come and go over the years and it takes a spark to move them from a dusty help forum to an alive community. ACF is lucky to have many keeping the flame alive, Guy included.

As to the topic, the FBI can only ask for data that's been logged. That varies by country and while the FBI isn't global, there are sister agencies in each country.

washingtonpost.com allows anyone to read 5 articles for free in a month. Just delete all cookies from washingtonpost.com and your counter will be reset -- you'll again be able to read 5 articles for free in a month. You can keep doing that as often as you want. Of course, if you read it a lot, it would be easier to just subscribe. :)

I agree. There have been many threads started by Guy that I scoffed at when I first saw them, thinking "there he goes again." And usually, some good discussions were started based on those posts.

I do wish he would start them off with some background or explanation: why it's important, what does he think about it, etc.

The reason why I posted this thread was because I thought that the models on here would consider this topic to be important to them.
I thought they would want to know about it because they would not want the FBI to be snooping in on their camming related web history. I was just trying to be helpful.

Oh! I've read like literally at least a 100 already though so I'm not sure why sometimes it catches me and sometimes it doesn't. I'm mostly on the same computer when I do. Weirds.

I like Guy's threads here too. Most of his threads get a lot of interesting responses and good to read. He also keeps the board going with all of his new threads.
