My friend works for a studio and has broadcasted on cb for 2.5 years. She wants to leave the studio and broadcast on her own. She doesn't know if she can just make a new account or if she has to do special things with her old studio first, or if there is downtime before she can be verified or even if she could be banned by Chaturbate for having another account. She contacted Chaturbate and they wanted the account name( reasonable) but she was afraid they would tell her studio she is wanting to start a new account and she doesn't want more problems. Her studio previously told her they would sell her the followers and her name for $10,000. But she doesnt make a lot of money to even consider buying them out . Anyway she doesn't know what to do and she also doesn't know if she can make itr as another girls from her sutudio left and tried on her own and had to come back to the studio for her followers. I told my friend to inform her good clients that she was changing names but the unknown a is difficult leap for her. So I told her i would look for advice her. Thank you for any her=lp and direction. In general, having multiple accounts is not a problem (if there is no blocking), so she can safely do this even while working for the studio
Selling an account is a bluff, because if it is a real studio account, it is almost impossible to extract it (at least that was the case before). But if her account is independent, but studio details are connected, it will be easier.
I have seen more than one studio layout, so I know how to protect yourself. In any case, all this must be done together with the support of Chaturbate, so that the studio does not do anything nasty and is not blocked.
I can give you some pointers and clarify the status of your friend's account. I have a suspicion that this might not be a real studio account if they are offering to buy it.

Hi. I helped a few models transition from a studio account into an independent account. The studios involved also used followers as a threat and motivation not to leave. Your friend is making money for the studio, so they will not want to let that person go. A user on CB can have as many accounts as they like, and have multiple accounts verified for transmission. The only real fear is how the studio will react. I've heard stories (and read accounts) of studios sabotaging a former employees' newly established independent account. The 'follower' offer is very common. In fact, the models I helped were given the exact same quote! It's laughable, because studios can not transfer followers between accounts not under their umbrella (according to conversations I've had with CB Staff).
Tell your friend the truth and do not sugarcoat it. Starting out is difficult and slow. Your friend will already have the experience of camming, and should know their value. That will make setting up the chat, apps/bots, prices, content, etc, much easier. I always recommend that models keep it simple for the first 6 months. Make easy content that does not stress or frustrate, and keep that content flowing. Keep a set schedule (when possible). Match social media account names, for organic discovery. Stuff like that.
The best thing you can do is what you are doing now, offering support.

Basically if she contacts support and provides the name and confirms that she is the holder of that account. This conversation will be considered confidential. So Chaturbate won't be able to write to the studio that their model wants to leave or something like that. And honestly, why do they need it?
Also, even if the studio contacts them, they will say the standard phrase that they cannot discuss this information with third parties.

Theres no problem with her creating a new account and getting verified, once she gets verified she can also ask cb support if they can remove her IDs from the old account (contact them from the email address she registered and verified the new account with since she wont have access to the studio email).
Nothing has changed with this policy in many years, its easy for a studio to convert one of their accounts to independent.
A studio can convert the studio sub account (the models studio account) to an independent account.
