GRRM is very involved in what happens on the show. (Aside from last season he's even written the script for one episode each year. Last year he decided that he needed to skip writing an episode so he could get back to working on the books. I don't know whether he wrote an episode this year or not.)

Really enjoyed this weeks episode. Wildlings saving the day was pretty cool, giant was brutal. Most interested in what is happening at the Iron Islands. Wonder what will happen to Theon when he returns.
