Hiya! me again! I'm jus waitin for model verification but have been searchin this forum an google trying to get some answers to my queries with no luck. Its probably in the model section anyway
I joined Livejasmin on wednesday last week, I really love cammin so far not sure this is the right site for me though so I've signed up for MFC aswell.
After the initial promotion period I really seem to be struggling, just getting people to come into my room isn't easy. The ones that do come in tend to stay and chat for long periods, they've even started sending me offline gifts/messages etc but no pvts.
I intend to keep entertaining these gents 1 because its fun but 2 because I'm under the illusion that these guys could become my 'regulars' am I wrong? Do you think they will eventually want to take me pvt if I build the 'relationship'?

Also most fo the guys that come into my room are shocked that I'm english, and I get the impression from the members forums on livejasmin that the members presume alot of performers are hard done to, foreign girls forced into camming to make ends meet. :/

When I go into other models rooms, they tend to jus be sitting there most looking miserable. I am really startin to think I'm on the wrong site... MFC or streammate seem more fun and full of genuine girls that are there to have fun or as extra job (or full time one earning good money) The only thing that scares me a bit with MFC is the camscore, how hard is it to gain? How much did you make on average when you first started out? I really need some extra dosh Eventually would love to pay off my credit cards

You mean, the 0.98/min period? There are many members on LiveJasmin that only take girls in private if the private costs 98 cents. As only new models can have this price and only on the first minutes (it is 100 minutes, I think), these guys never come back to see the models again. Now you fall into the problem of many LJ models. You are lucky for having members tipping you offline on LJ. It is rare.

That is because LJ was never a site with many English models. People on LJ are skeptical when a model says she is from UK, USA, Canada...

I say go for it Bella, you have nothing to lose and a lot of guys find English accents sexy - just be yourself and have fun, engage with those who come into your room as best you can and let camscore worry about itself.

If you like the idea of Livejas, you'd probably do better on Streamate. Even though the % is low for both sites, SM lets you set your own prices. Well, you can do that at Livejas too, but those dudes are so intent on 1.99. That site really hurts itself by not letting models silence guests. Their guests are rampant. I cammed with them a few months. They hit me with a couple of chargebacks and I left. Screw .70 a minute with chargebacks!

Is your internet quality? If you're not ready to give up Livejas you could always split cam with Streamate. The camscore isn't that scary. I just keep in mind that bad days will get wiped clean after 60

This was quite a while ago but I read a statistic somewhere that said the the majority of guys hanging out and talking to you in your room will never, ever pay you. Most of the members that take you private will just watch you for a minute or so and then initiate the paid session. This isn't really true on MFC since the site is more geared to these personal interactions. But I've been working on Streamate since about April I think and from my experience if a guy spends more than just a few minutes talking with me and doesn't take me private, he isn't going to.

I also find that if I focus too much on having a flirty, one-on-one convo with a member in public chat, the other chatters won't stick around for long. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy the conversation with my broke members, I'm just not going to give them all my attention.

MFC is my favorite site to get my perv on and watch other models. I thought I would love it because of the creativity it allows in crafting the atmosphere of your room and coming up with interesting shows. But I found it entirely too stressful for me. I can't deal with all of the cam score nonsense and I felt if I wasn't doing naked hand stands while whistling and playing with a Hitachi, I would be sitting in an empty room.

I came from LJ to MFC, but I was a fetish model. I also got the, "Holy crap you speak english and live in America!?" every day. And you know what? It did help. I was able to be more engaging and a LOT of people from LJ drilled that into my head, so I worked it, lol! I do see some girls do well in the 'girls' section on mfc, but I do agree it's more of a 'wham bam' site than a relationship building site. I built relationships there on the freckles of my back and did everything I could to bring them with me here to mfc.

MFC is a little bit different. It does require patience. Or at least that has been my experience. Lately things have been picking up, but I really, really do enjoy knowing about what B's cat is up to or that Y's surgery went well. I also enjoy that B likes to add nipple clamps and ballgags me every time I try to read, rofl! So...it depends on what you want! Trying them all out isn't a bad idea. I was even considering streammate just to supplement income since I'm used to the wham-bam.
