Is it even possible to lift a permanent ban on Chaturbate?

Hi everyone,

I am curious about all your experiences with a permanent ban on Chaturbate. Has anyone ever successfully managed to have a permanent ban removed? From talking to people and looking at the forum here, it seems basically impossible. It seems that Chaturbate support finds it easier to just maintain the ban rather than engage in any discussion. For example, they informed me: "You were informed that you are permanently banned from the Chaturbate platform and, as a courtesy, the basis of such permanent ban. We are unable to assist further and may not respond to additional emails." And then they do not respond at all.

On this forum, I've noticed that responses from @punker barbie often just mention the ticket number. It is still not clear if things are resolved or not. I understand that it might be easier for them to handle it this way, but it's been quite frustrating. I've been trying everything for the past 3 months, and nothing seems to work.

Has anyone had a similar experience? How did it turn out for you? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I have watched and read so many ban posts. I 100% believe maybe 1 percent might get reversed. Best idea is to move on and find another site asap start working and let it go. Skyprivate. CamSoda. SextPanther for Americans and Canadians. Stripchat. Uberhorny. LoyalFans. OnlyFans. Streamate. MyFreeCam. Bongo. Cam4. By the way. Cam4 tokens are 10Cents each.

@BlueEyezIrish Really? 1%? Honestly, all the other sites, maybe except Stripchat, seem to be dead. Especially cam4. No?

hi @Fred11 Please provide your username or ticket number so I may pass it along to our Support team
@punker barbie My username is "Misaelgabri". Maybe someone from the support team can tell me what I can do and how I can make it right.

But honestly, at this point, I think the others are probably right and I doubt the support team is willing to help. It seems I am not part of the 1%.
But thanks for trying anyway.

would you mind to share what’s the reason of the banned? @Fred11

Sorry for the interruption. I am just curious what did supports response to you.
Sure, I can answer that. I do not have any problem with that. Maybe it can help someone.

I've been working in a group for almost 6 years now. Yes, I know, a very long time. But this is the only way I am able to support my family, and Chaturbate was the only platform that worked for me. We have been doing the same thing as always, nothing changed. But suddenly in July, Chaturbate (no other platform) banned us, and we later received the explanation: "Banned for violence." After further requesting to understand what changed, the answer from support was something like: "We told you the reason for the ban, be happy that we did even that. You are banned permanently." I am still not sure why. Some rules must have changed, and I was not aware. That is my mistake, and I admit that. But there is no clear guideline on how to proceed when every time you ask support, they just tell you: we answered you in Ticket #XXXXXX (basically what @punker barbie does here).

Honestly, what is the support even for then? It just seems more like a marketing contribution to protect the Chaturbate company or make them look good.

Looking at the forum here and talking to friends, nothing actually gets resolved.

Anyway, what can be done? Probably nothing anymore. They always only make final decisions, and they do not seem to care. 🤷

I see, and sad to say that you violated the CB rules.. They already told you that the reason of the banned is “violence” hope you will be more extra careful next time sweety.. I guess you really have to accept it and move on. So so sorry to hear that.

The issue I have is the following: They tell me it was because of "violence," but they could just as easily have said, "I looked funny at the camera." The point is, there is no transparency; Chaturbate support does what it wants. They can ban you for any reason at any time, and there is no way to appeal or make direct contact. They hide behind CB "rules" and internal ticket numbers. It seems it is designed this way.
After 6 years of working with that platform, I hoped for at least some normal response, but no, just the usual unfriendly tone. As soon as you have a problem with them, you're in trouble. Very frustrating.

You know what I mean?

I know it is really frustrating and I hope the problem you’re facing now will be solved hopefully soon. Just be positive.🙂

CB Support does listen to everyone you only have to wait and also update them regarding to the situation if there is a chance to fixed it.
@Miss A Thanks, but I think they are already ignoring me. Not sure what to do now.

@aisaria No, still banned. No Emails, despite what @punker barbie wrote here in the chat. As I said, they do not care, do not respond anymore and cite some internal ticket numbers which you can not even use for anything.

Are there more people here who got banned? I am curious what all of your experiences with the Chaturbate support are. Care to share?

We've had thousands of "banned from CB" posts here over the years. Very rarely (if ever) has anyone who got the "you're permanently banned" message actually been unbanned, as far as they've reported here.

In majority of cases, once you get that notice, they simply stop replying to you. Wipe their hands, done with ya. They don't have to give a fuller explanation, so they rarely do.

This is why so often one of us cam veterans step in and tell people to move on and use their energy on a new site (and of course to make sure they're following ToS).

@AmberCutie That is a very sad state of things then. And it seems that this is only the case with Chaturbate? Right?
In other forums, like for Stripchat, real people ("Industry Representatives") reply and help. Here @punker barbie is just responding to people with internal ticket numbers. Why actually? For PR?

That's already more than they're required to do, since this forum isn't actually affiliated with any cam site directly.

I know two models that had their "permanent bans" reversed. I am not sure how one did it (maybe her studio got involved?) but the other had her ID used by her old studio. She filed a police report, I think had a lawyer (to deal with the police charges not CB), and it took months. She also likely dealt with legal@chaturbate.com and not support. So it is possible, just not likely unless you have a very good reason. In the latter model's case she did not violate the TOS and was able to prove that to CB's satisfaction. The first model did underage role play in private (because she thought it was ok in private), so I don't know how she managed to get her account unbanned.

@AmberCutie Ohh, that is a good point. Thanks for providing the platform, by the way!

Should this thread stay open and we can collect experiences of other people who were banned? Maybe they feel the pressure and finally improve their support? What do you think?

My account was also banned. It's a very strange story. I got a ban "other people's or fake documents". Despite 8 years of work on the site. I'm still sure I didn't do it. But I get my question ignored despite the strangeness of the situation and my willingness to provide all the documents I have ever uploaded. At the same time, I still have more than $4,000 in tokens left on my account. I can tell my story in more detail if anyone needs it. this could get interesting. I was also surprised by the lack of opportunity to appeal and receive clarification despite the large balance on the account.

That sounds like a weird one based on just this info, so wondering if there are more details to the situation...

If you'd been approved with valid ID for multiple years, it seems odd that suddenly they decide your ID is fake or belongs to someone else.

Yes, you are right. We are talking about several types of documents and the creation of a large number of accounts over the past 8 years. But for the last 5 years, my three accounts worked fine until I discovered that another account was linked to my email. I wrote to the support service to unlink it from the mail and delete it. Since I did not use it and did not plan to. Instead, I received a notification that I had used someone else's or fraudulent documents.

Regarding the details, I am really trying to find out from the support service.Because I don't even remember when this account was created and what caused it to be blocked then. It is important to note that I found out about his blocking several weeks ago and immediately contacted support. I don't even know what document we are talking about, but in any case I can provide them all. This whole situation becomes even stranger considering that the blocking happened when there is a large sum of money in my account. And the fact that the accounts were not blocked earlier, for example, along with the account that raised suspicions. In that case, I would have noticed the problem right away. And asked for a solution. The only situation with documents that I found in my mail is related to providing a driver's license. More precisely, with a technical limitation of the sitePreviously, the ability to upload a document was limited to two cells, I found a message requiring to upload 3 photos. (ID from both sides) Those who have been working for a long time will understand what I am talking about. Accordingly, the support service refers to records made earlier in their system. But if my documents are really genuine, and I am ready to provide them upon the first request in the form of a photo, video or scanned copy, I do not understand the reason why I am being ignored? That's really all I know and the situation makes me uneasy. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
