Hi! I just signed for MFC about three days ago and since then I swear I have earned like 200 tokens. I seriously don't understand why it seems most guys want to make fun of me or get stuff for free and when I don't give them what they want, they just laught at me at call me fat or ugly. I literally have "chubby" in my tags lmao I KNOW IM FAT. Also they seem to think that because I'm new and young they can treat me how they want. I don't know what to do, I just want to reach the minimum payment (20) and then take my money off my account and forget all of this.
Seriously, last night I couldn't sleep because my head hurt so much I feel like I'm going to cry and I don't know how to save my 12 dollars so far, I even ordered a fucking payoneer card and I don't know how to explain that to my mom. I fucked up and I know that I'm probably boring, but it's because the only guys I get in my room are either fat shamers or free loaders there's some nice guys and a guy who tipped me the 200, but so far this has been a failure and I just want to leave. Like, my naked and cumshow isn't even worth 700? Please help me, I also did a tumblr to promote myself but I haven't uploaded anything. I only need to make 6 more dollars

Jisoo - if you're thinking that you'll likely quit and not use MFC again, I'd take a step back and ask yourself if stressing over how to get that last $6 is worth it? It might be a case of needing to just forget about the $12 and move on. Is it worth the time and stress to get that last $6 or could you afford to cut your losses and leave?

As far as not being good at interacting with people unless they approach you - clips might be a better fit for you. MFC and similar social based cam sites really require you to put yourself out there and 'lead' the conversation in your chat room. If that's not something you enjoy or can do clips may be a good option. On my clips stores I have very little interaction with customers.

camming and sex work in general are often a case of trial and error. Most girls need to try several different type of sites or types of work before they find a good fit. Don't be discouraged if your first choice is not working out well.

Selling clips through a site like manyvids or Clips4Sale could be a great idea, since they provide most of their own traffic. It could give you an opportunity to make a bit of a following, get set on twitter and such, and get settled into the industry at a slower pace so you can give camming another shot when you have a bit of confidence built up. Or not... camming may not be for you. Lot's of girls only make clips.

When someone calls me fat, I smile and remember that I am fat, I have stretch marks, and cellulite, and love myself and what I do and that can just piss people off. Then block them, block anyone who makes you uncomfortable. If you don't do humiliation and someone is calling you a piggy, tell them to knock it off or get the fuck out.

Cam is an uphill battle most of the time, if you are new and have that MFC new model status, I think it is best to cam as much as possible. Get people to follow your twitter so they can get updates, etc. But at the end of the day, for every sweet and kind paying member there are five silent non-paying members and a bot, and a troll. (This is all in my opinion though!) Don't give up though! Ban, ban, and ban again. Fuck, if someone comes in when you're naked and goes "well guess I got here in time" tell them to pay or leave. It helps to be friendly and sweet, let your personality shine, but I'm of the mind that rude and people that don't pay can get fucked.

Also, yes! Make clips and photosets because you don't have to interact with people as much. It is super amazing if you're having a rough day to log off and make clips and post clips, maybe promote a little on twitter, but don't have to interact with any mean people.

Photos aren't all that profitable these days, but clips absolutely are, especially fetish clips. Clips4sale has plenty of on-site traffic, despite the site looking like it never left the 90's.

Additionally, if you do want to cam, Streamate may be a better option for you. It has less emphasis on being social, and plus-size models do quite well there.

Echoing what everybody else has said with clips. You can work at your own pace, making as many or as few clips as you like, you won't be dealing with assholes and freeloaders, and you can always return to camming later on if you want to. If you build up enough regular customers through your clipstore, it might be worth offering Skype shows with members you trust enough not to be cunts.

I feel you. I'm autistic too and I have the same problem of, "no one's tipping or interacting, the eff do I do?" Especially since I've gotten out of the new models section. I usually just make my own ways to start up conversation, since I do tend to talk to myself a lot anyways that usually gets people to actually start talking instead of lurking at a bored clothed girl doing nothing. Also playing games helps me too. If no one tips, do a freebie to show them how the game works and do something so you aren't bored out of your mind.
And of course, if it doesn't feel right, don't do it! I have the same problems with interacting and my ultimate goal is to move onto mainstream porn. I don't mind camming as long as I'm entertained and it's helping me get to my ultimate goal. But if it isn't fun for you, try something new. Try making your own vids and seeing how you like it. See what works for you and you'll do great. Also blocking trolls who point out the obvious that your chubby really helps your sanity.

I can relate to this so much. I'm also autistic and, though I'm much better at small talk than I used to be, my social skills just don't seem to be up to camming. I'm going to give it another go at some point, but for now I'm quite happy making clips. Haven't sold one, yet, but my store is about a day old lol. I hope you've found some way to enjoy yourself either in camming or making clips

You might want to try streamate if still want to try camming. It's not much of a social site like MFC. And private based. Majority of the cliental doesn't talk. So there isn't any big social obligations.

One thing I did because my anxiety would make me awkward when I first started out. Write out some sentences I would want to say as my pitch or dirty talk tips to help on note cards and put them on my wall behind my monitor.

regardless if its a dead topic or not, the advice given can help anyone. as you can see multiple posts related to OP. i see no problem with cam help threads being resurrected. this is an industry support forum mostly.

I think I need more information before I can give you advice.

How long were you on cam for? How many times did you cam? This piece of information is KEY. Many girls start out thinking that they can just squeeze a 30 minute to 1 hour session and make money and on token sites it just doesn't work that way. In general it takes at least 2 hours to build up a room. And if you are new, it might take you longer.

Now, If you did cam for a solid 3 hour shift several times and saw no results then maybe you need to adjust your strategy. The 2 biggest mistakes I see new girls make is (1) Give too much for too little. Don't hang out naked or in lingerie for hours, don't make your topics low simply because your camscore is low. Learn to play with anticipation so they are eager to see what you have to offer, then charge them for it. (2) Having a negative attitude in chat by responding to trolls instead of banning them, complaining about lack of tokens or conversation without giving them the motivation to fix it. I have never seen you on cam so this is just generic advice.

If you are not very good at conversation find other ways to entertain. You will figure out what to do instead. Conversation is not my forte and I do quite well because my room is not about talking. It can be nerve wrecking when you have a small room and no-one is talking, I get it, but try a different approach.

Don't take failures personally, it takes some time to find your groove. The most important thing is that you be willing to learn from your mistakes and come up with new ideas. Don't fixate on the money or you will not make any, try to have a good time on cam and to make people have a good time as well. As soon as you earn some money put a part of it towards this: get the best webcam you can, good lights, nice clothing and a pretty background.

And by all means do diversify. If you are not seeing the results you want, try clip making, try private based sites, try everything you can, and you will find you are better at one thing than the rest.

I don't do clips they make me uncomfortable, however that might be a route you want to explore. or a different cam site, mfc is a great site but they have a lot of girls online at once.
