I'm not sure what Bush your talking about, but I would not go so far as to call any present or former president of my country a moron. Despite now much I might disagree with actions that took place or policy...not to mention morality.

Speeches are not written by the president, nor are they written with the vocab ment for ivy leage graduates. They are written for us. The general public. Can't use big words for the general public. Interpretation of small words causes enough trouble. Gotta keep things PC and universal

Do you believe the ppl of 50, 75, 100years ago were better educated, or that those ppl were just more intelligent ppl. presidents have always been orators. The speeches have always been written for us the general public. Rural folk who possessed the most beautiful plain vocabularies, ppl who had maybe never met anyone who had a collage degree, much less an Ivy league degree, understood what was said in these speeches. Ppls nature, like electricity, or flowing water, will assume the path of least resistance. Ppl today are more inherently intelligent than any time in the past. We act stupid, b/c it has become acceptable.

I'm politically ignorant when it comes to America Land so I have no idea if Obama's presidency has been good or bad BUT I do applaud him for coming out in support of gay marriage. To do so when your continued employment is essentially dependent on not doing or saying anything that the masses might potentially disagree with (I get the impression there's a fair few homophobes in America) is ballsy and defiantly progressive.
