I am new to the forum and ran a search, so I apologize if I missed the answer to my question somewhere. I created a Mediafire account and am currently waiting 16 hours for my first 11G movie to upload, eek! In the meantime, I am trying to figure out how to put a banner in my profile showcase a preview picture and the token cost for videos. I have seen these on multiple girls profiles who are selling videos. Any help on where or how or even who to talk to to put this html code together would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Tiffany, your profile shows that you're already familiar with making graphics. Why don't you make a graphic for your video preview, instead of using HTML code? Many girls have graphic-based profiles because it takes a lot of time to learn HTML.

If you want to make a graphic, just play your video and pause it when you find the right spot. Take a screenshot and paste it with Ctrl+V in your picture editing software (or MS paint), resize the screenshot if necessary, then arrange the token price somewhere around it.

Also, why is your video 11 GB big? That's gigantic and will take forever for members to download... My biggest video is "only" 1.55 GB big and it takes members with a slow internet connection a pretty long time to download it.
How long is your video and what's the resolution?

This is kinda embarrassing, but I literally made my entire profile with the help of PicMonkey. I am not very good with making graphics and editing photos and videos. I am starting with some clips that I have sitting on my hard drive from shoots I have done over the years with other photographer and videographers. This one is only 8 min edited. It is really high quality, but I don't have the knowledge to shrink it into something usable. I stopped the download when I realized it would probably take the members just as long to get their video. In the future, I will be using my Flipcam to shoot videos for use on MFC.

Download speed is usually faster than upload, so it won't take your members as long to fetch it as it does for you to put it up.

Meanwhile, once you are verified, I have no doubt that you will find links to tools that will allow you to convert your HD video to a more compact file format. It's not hard, and there are all kinds of videos on Youtube on the subject, if you want to skip ahead. If you liked that video you wanted to upload, there is no reason to let it go to waste.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjlPtRy9rCs is one, and there are a bunch more linked on the right-hand side of that page.

Even though download speed is much faster than upload speed, it'll still take too long to download for most members. 11 GB is seriously enormous. My first 2 solo videos (8-9 minutes) are only around 1 GB each, even though they're Full HD too - if I had let them stay the way they are, coming straight from the camera, they would have been around your size, too. :/
I'm not sure if you have Sony Vegas, but if you don't, try opening the video in Windows Live Movie Maker and save it as a new movie, with the same HD resolution. If you have options to pick from regarding the file type, don't pick avi. Pick wmv or mov. That should take away some of the size!
