It's got to the point with my highest tipper that he wants to meet up, he's talking about buying a plane ticket to come and see me, he doesn't know my real location but he's going to buy a ticket to where he thinks I am. Obviously I don't want this happen, plus I have no intention of ever meeting up with him, but how do you keep guys in your room and tipping when it gets to the point where they want to meet? Or do these kinds of tippers have a shelf life and I just have to be blunt and tell him no and risk him leaving my room? I've run out of excuses to use to tell him I can't meet him.

I feel like you'll get more nuanced answers on models only, but bottom line : yes these types of people have shelf lives. Also, stringing him along could prove dangerous, as well as being ethically dubious.

Boundries are important, set them early and keep them maintained.

If these conversations are happening on the camsite, be careful. there are strict no talking about meetups on camsites which can get you banned. Its against US law to make these arrangements on adult sites.

If they are happening on the site, you gotta put a stop to it. I recommend telling them discussing meeting up is against site rules/law.

Referring back to the site rules is a good way. "I am sorry darling - but even discussing meeting up is totally against the rules and will get me in trouble. Please would you never bring that question up again - I might lose my job over it."

Weirdly, I did try telling guys that meet ups are against site rules, and I got a message from support saying not to do that. It seems SC want to have meet ups be against the rules but to not tell the guys that so it gives them the impression that meets ups are ok, it's a strange situation to be in. There do seem to be an absurdly high number of guys who ask for meets ups, they're getting the idea that meet ups are ok from somewhere.

Some sites also write about this in their TOS in very odd ways

For example CB uses this as the only thing they DIRECTLY say you can't do for meeting up :" Use of the Platform to arrange face-to-face meetings for the purpose of engaging in illegal activity is strictly prohibited and will subject your Account to immediate termination" (section V.L in their TOS) but it is a good way of maybe letting him down easily, I would almost bet a guess that he will ask for some kind of off the platform communication way after this however, and if he's being pushy with meeting up now, might not be a person you want to have access to communication when you're even offline (just how I see it as a viewer myself)

this is kind of surprising. I posted some questions in another thread here recently about high tipping members, "whales" in particular, and whether wanting to meet up is a motivation for many (or some, or very few?) Members and models mainly reiterated the standard positions: "cam sites are not dating sites" and "meeting up is strictly against the rules," "in-person meetings rarely happen." And a main takeaway was, at least I was told, that very few of these big-spending members have interest in meeting up at all. Your post suggests otherwise, if your high tippers are always asking about it and even trying to arrange visits. But most of all - what a weird position by Stripchat!! so they want to make sure it's clear that meeting up is clearly against the rules, but they also want you to lead on members or at least not tell them directly that it's a violation? That's shady as hell in my opinion.

Stripchat's Rules for Models is very clear on this, and you were correct to tell those users what you did.
From https://stripchat.com/wiki/Rules_for_Models it includes the following lines:

To keep the site safe, we also prohibit:
  • Discussing or arranging prostitution or escort services.
  • Making any arrangements for personal meetings or shows outside the site.

I mean broadcasters should show to people that they have their own life, privacy and so on and having good tipper doenst mean that we need to meet with him. We broadcast, we do our shows, we are worth to be tipped just like that, for our show and work, without being forced to meet with everybody who spent tons on us. We have our own life, we have bfs/gfs, friends, hobbys and so on so if somebody tip us good- great and thank you, we are worht it. We dont need to treat every good tipper like white knight who came to save our life and spend life with him and thinking what he will do if we wont meet. Why we should meet ? We offer online shows, we are not on real dates ads site, so for me its obvious that we dont need to meet and im saying it loud and in open way if somebody ask for meet. I just say: no im camgirl with my own life, what I can offer is online show.
I also dont like this kind of attitude when guys ask for meet because for me its like: ohh she is not so popular so probably im the one who tipped her good, so now she will see how cool i am and how i can change her life . I just dont like it . i want people see camgirl in me, camgirl for who having big tipers is normal and "she is not loosing her mind and leaving everything because i spent few k tokens on her. "

“I’ve never cammed a day in my life but I must show everyone how I am right and they are wrong about this…. ” 🤦‍♀️

That is very strange.

Stripchat needs to clarify this if that's the case.

FWIW I always tell people that they are welcome to meet me at events hosted by the camsite. (eg. AVN MFC booth or previously Sexpo MFC booth (RIP to that one though))

If they're serious about just wanting to meet you in person, they'll come say Hi at an event...and it's a sanctioned and controlled environment.

Sure it's not exactly what they want but it's a compromise that works for many.

Obviously a misunderstanding of some sort.

SC is never going to tell a model to NOT tell users that meetings are forbidden, when that (that they are forbidden) is exactly what SC TOS for both models and users states.

But does SC (and other sites) have this in the TOS only to cover themselves from any liability but otherwise turn a blind eye? The official position about this sounds very strict, but I've encountered suggestions about meeting from a couple of models (which happened after we were communicating on social media, not on site). But that's out of a much larger number of models I've met on sites. I didn't test it out further, as these models were in far away, overseas locations and even if these suggestions were fully serious, hard to know if I would find the model at the other end of the adventure, or some Eastern European robbery crew.

Unfortunately, I think there will always be a small percentage of men on cam sites that think you owe them more than a virtual experience, especially if they are high tippers, it comes with the territory!
Speaking of high tippers, I'm on a few sites, but SC is my main one. I've blown a lot of money already - all good, lots of fun. I've spent some time reading member profiles of other Royal leaguers, especially those who get to a 98 or 99 or Legend status much faster than I would or could. I have almost nothing in my profile but I'm always interested to see what the biggest rollers write about themselves, especially when they put in a lot of content. Some of them have profiles that look like something you would see on a dating site, really interesting especially when it's complete with photos of themselves.

Anyway, I've come across several who say (or at least strongly imply) in their profiles that they are interested in "dating" (and do "date") models they meet on the sites. One Legend member has screenshots posted of the several models' rooms where he is the All Time King and dozens where he was a King with tips that are more in a day than average users tip in six months or a year. He even posted "advice" where he says he's dated many models, so we other members should take heed. lol

Now I'll admit, I've only seen a few examples of someone putting comments like that out there for anyone on the site to read, but this to me says that there's a parallel world, with parallel rules, for the big spenders. I can't see SC or any site terminating a guy who's spending $50,000-$100,000 a year on the platform - whether he's arranging meet-ups with models or not. I also wonder if the slogan "cam sites are not dating sites" is meant to apply to the run-of-the-mill users who spend a few hundred a month, not those who spend a few thousand a month or more.

But that being the case, can we really fault members for suggesting meetings? Should this really be prohibited? And do sites really care, so long as they don't get in trouble in some way?

The answers to your three questions are

Yes, yes, and yes.
Well thanks for simplifying it but I'm wondering why you feel that way. This is, after all, a business. If some model sees a chance at big money from meetups, and members have the money, aren't they going to do it anyway? Or what if the member and model become interested in an actual relationship? If everyone understands the risks, why should it be anyone else's business? If you are a server in a restaurant or a bartender, and you meet a customer you like, you might go on a date, right? :haha:

I'm wondering if this is more about image and the sites don't want to look like they are encouraging prostitution (or dating, for that matter). But what can they really do, especially when dealing with members who bring a lot of money to the table and models who want that money?

In general across many broadcasting sites the rules are enforced more on the broadcaster than the user asking. It's just easier to enforce the rules on the broadcasters side, those SC mega whales all use crypto so even if you wanted to ban one it's crypto they can just make another account and send from another wallet. I'm not saying they won't ban them I'm just saying what's the point.

No one here (I assume) has any issue with full service sex work, sugaring or other arrangements. We keep our noses out of other ppls business. We don’t judge according to any whoreachy bullshit.

plenty of models were doing meetups, and even some doing more with their whale tippers on mfc. I used to sell meet ups, date raffles, dinners etc at conventions.

The site gave no shits. It’s not about their image. They just wouldn’t let you outright advertise sex for money as that is illegal in most places.

They stopped allowing meet ups IMMEDIATELY when FOSTA/SESTA came into effect. It had a chilling effect on the industry, and especially on full service workers.

In the years since, legal scrutiny and pressure around what is perceived as sex trafficking, prostitution and such has become intense. What I have seen is much more of a split between the different kinds of sex work. If models do also escort, they tend to do so with VERY separate profiles. It is risky to mix them. I’ve also noticed that cam models GENERALLY speaking are less into in person stuff than mainstream porn and fetish models who may also escort or take sessions on the side. Huge generalization there, but just something I noticed. Even then, mainstream models keep their escort profiles separate.

So that is why you shouldn’t bother cam models about dating or meeting. Sugar baby websites and escorting sites are where that activity needs to stay.

Should sex work be decriminalized? Of course. But this is not the world we live in yet. Asking for meetups on cam sites puts us at risk.

Double post this was supposed to be at the top but I cut it somehow.

The difference between a server going on a date with a customer and a cam model doing it is LITERALLY legality. There are no laws that will go after a servers place of work for facilitating prostitution or sex trafficking.

That said, it’s shitty to flirt with/ask out servers too. They literally have to be nice to you, they work for your tip. It’s not a fair thing to do to them either. They are working!

Sugar baby websites and escorting sites are where that activity needs to stay.
So I'm asking this in total ignorance: If a model works on one or more cam sites, but has a profile or advertisement (or whatever it would be called) on an escort or sugar baby site, is that allowed (by the cam model sites)? If the camsites know about it, they don't care? Or does the model have to do that with a different name and basically keep it hidden from the cam sites?

It's not prohibited that models do sugar or escort. What is so that they use the cam site to advertise it. Cam sites don't give a fuck what we do outside their sites, as they should.

Thanks for stepping in everyone! 💜
