Chaturbate bans you for no reason and then refuses to tell you why you were banned. I think that's the key difference.

I hate Chaturbate and it feels far less chatty and far more sexual than MFC. Also, I don't like the commingling of men, women, couples, gays and trans. I just wanna look at women. Also, the couple's shows, B/G, are pretty lame compared to watching quality porn. I also hate hearing the dude talk-- Like STF and let the woman speak! I'll say another thing in CB's favor. I'm not the kind of guy to buy tokens (ya know, steady income, owns a house, etc.), but since CB allows male and female models, I've found myself tipping other models, since I'm already there and already have currency and can't help but like some of what I see. And being someone who has never.bought.porn.before.in.his.life (not even a Playboy--we had the internet when I was 15, LOL), that's obviously the only way this would ever happen. I should be smarter with my money, and I'll never be a king tipper, but maybe it at least ups morale in slow times, or encourages others.

There is no camscore on CB like there is on MFC-your placement is based on how many users are in your room at any given time. Also, new model status starts right when your account is approved and lasts for 7 days. CB has females, males, couples, and transsexuals.
I don't cam on CB anymore, but I used to and I got a lot more rude trolls on there than I do on MFC or SM. Members on MFC are more generous overall, but that's just my experience. Others may have different experiences.

good business decision, that one, since it incentivizes models not blocking anons or greys from their feed (who typically make up around 85% of the audience).
No lounge for members to perv on you. To see you a member has to go to your room. No private show archive, no dubious token transfer from user to user function. No apps and bots, no hidden cam shows, private show price cannot be adjusted, no fixed price shows. Video quality is better on cb. Interactive toys REALLY work on cb.

Perhaps you didn't understand. I'm not looking for couples and my criticism of Chaturbates couples rooms has to deal with live cam couple's sex in general. It is not a comparative as you tried to suggest because it seems like you are trying to do an item by item comparison between MFC and Chaturbate. So no it wasn't petty because I wasn't making a comparison-- I was simply saying that those types of rooms suck in general and that watching couples isn't something that I'm interested in because it is never quality and has all the interruptions that i listed.

What makes token transfers "dubious"? Also couldn't the same effect be had by tipping your tokens to each other on Chaturbate?
Why would a member send money to another user? What for? I find it useless and dubious. And yes, I know it's used for sharing private show videos.

A few uses I've seen token transfer used for:
- members compiling their tokens to send a model a really big tip collectively
- members sending tokens to a model's member account so she can tip another model
- members who are friends sending tokens to another member when he's a bit skint
Obviously it could be used for nefarious purposes but I don't think as a feature it's totally bad or dubious.

CB has annoying and gross ads all over the place if you don't use an adblocker. The general vibe isn't as nice and the Mods on a power trip totally ruin it.
CB has laughable customer service, will ban you without warning. The layout of the site is cleaner but I find it a little cold.
You also can't sort the models by as many different locations as you can on MFC, sometimes i like to watch UK models but on CB they are lumped in with the thousands of Euro studio models and impossible to find.
The positives for CB is that it does have better vid quality than MFC and models can set their own private show rates. They also have ticket shows and more apps that can be used for their shows.

I signed up for mfc but have not broadcasted yet. so most of my opinions are from strictly observation
I've been on Chaturbate for 8 months and I feel like a lot of people on Chaturbate give so much away for free. It makes it pretty difficult for those of us trying to earn a paycheck. I think a majority of the people on the site are just scrolling for raunchy explicit shows. Whereas on mfc there is more of a community feel. It's not just about the porn.
For example a model on Chaturbate has 8,000+ viewers in her room. 6,000+ viewers are anonymous or not signed up for the site, 1500 are grey users (signed up but not holding tokens) and the other hand full are members that have spent previously and still holding tokens but are not necessarily spending at that point in time. All the while only a couple of people are carrying on a conversation with the model. On mfc Of course members want to get their nut but a lot of them are looking for a cool chick to get to know, chat with and of course see her naked.
I can't even explain the number of grey users on Chaturbate that will openly tell me that they are jacking off to me and have no intention of ever tipping. It's degrading AF.
So a lot of the difference is the mindset. A majority of Chaturbate is just looking for sexual satisfaction and does not take into account that the model is trying to earn tokens in trade or just don't care. on mfc I think most members understand the balance needed between members and models. Of course there are free loaders on both sites which is to be expected. But the volume is much higher on Chaturbate.
-Chaturbate allows female, male, trans and some possibly underage people to broadcast. (I swear I've seen a 12 year old broadcasting.)
-Chaturbate does not have a e-mailing system which is a huge shortfall.
-Chaturbate has terrible support. Don't bother e-mailing them. They don't reply 99% of the time.

-Chaturbate doesn't have a program to glam up your profile. It all HTML.
-Chaturbate doesn't have a camscore but a ranking by who has the most people in their room.
-Chaturbate seems to have a lot of scammers, profile hacks and profile bans.
-Chaturbate allows us to choose the tokens per minute rate for privates.

In one model's room there are a ton of friendly regulars who always tip. One really nice regular is on disability and cannot always afford to tip, sometimes the guys send him tokens so that he is able to participate fully. I think that is a great reason to allow token transfers.

From what I understand of Chaturbate's "age verification system", they don't even check the age of a broadcaster until it comes time to pay them, at which point they require ID to verify that the person looking to cash out their tokens is indeed an adult. But up until that point, there's every chance that the broadcaster is underage. To counteract this, Chaturbate rely on members to report the model for being underage, at which point Chaturbate will ban the account, even of the report is erroneous, and even if Chaturbate have the model's details on file and do in fact know that they are of age. They've also been known to uphold bans even after they've confirmed the performer is of age, simply because they look young, and it's presumably easier for Chaturbate to ban them than deal with the continued underage reports that would be sent their way were that person to continue camming. Of course, all of that could be avoided if Chaturbate simply required its performers to upload their ID before being allowed to broadcast, but Chaturbate gonna Chaturbate.

I've never noticed an ad. I guess ads are how anons and greys give thanks to the website for the free content.

that was my experience signing up. you cannot receive tokens until you're verified (at least that was the rhetoric. I didn't attempt to broadcast until I was verified).
