In college, learned this from my Chinese roomate:
Cook ground beef, pour off the grease.
Get water boiling, add lettuce and ground beef.
Add ramen noodles.
Pour off all the excess water (takes the rest of the grease with it.)
Add soy sauce.
Stuff face.
My own recipes are:
1) Creamy Chicken
Lightly season chicken breast with salt/pepper, grill, then cut into strips.
Boil Creamy Chicken flavor ramen noodles, pour off all water.
Add quarter-stick butter, creamy chicken packets and grilled chicken strips.
Stir until noodles and chicken strips coated with creamy chicken/butter mixture.
Stuff face.
2) Veggie ramen
Add frozen mixed veggies (peas, carrots, corn) to water, bring to boil.
Add ramen noodles, boil 2.5 minutes.
Drain water, season with packet or with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, onion powder mixture.
Stuff face.
3) Egg Drop ramen
Add ramen noodles to boiling water, then break two eggs directly into water.
Cook 3 minutes, then pour off water.
Add soy sauce.
Stuff face.
