Just follow a few accounts that are cam/porn related that you actually find interesting, and interact with them, you will gain followers organically. It's especially great when you follow people who can drive discussion on their Twitter, makes it much easier for you to interact.

Just follow a few accounts that are cam/porn related that you actually find interesting, and interact with them, you will gain followers organically. It's especially great when you follow people who can drive discussion on their Twitter, makes it much easier for you to interact.

On one hand, yeah. That's a smart fuckin' tactic to get guys to notice you. Unless you're DMing them unwanted shit or being harassing of the other models I can't say decisively that it's shitty one. If you are going above and beyond to get these guys to favor you over another model when you're only finding them because of her/them to begin, that's shadier than my asshole on a cloudy day.

If you're not though? It's a gray area overall, but a red flag to the other models here as far as the unspoken code of ethics we as a community hold (strictly here on ACF, not sure how it goes elsewhere). To us, it looks poach-y - a similar behavior would be going into other model's rooms and PMing their members, that shit will get you many a mean look/overall block from other ladies. That combined with you having NO verification/identifying information on your ACF profile, it looks a bit shady.

That is why everyone just low-key jumped up your asshole & out your throat. ...that happens here sometimes.

That's the way to do it! Interact, retweet, be human. Some of those models who you've tried to inadvertently poach for their followers will eventually retweet you, or reply to you, and their followers will find you that way.

Wooooo, buddy. You need to be WAY less defensive if you're gonna last in camming for any longer than a year. It's not an attractive quality and you may be left to even more underhanded methods to get people to buy your content/support your endeavors if you burn all your bridges at this speed.

My own bitchiness aside, I wasn't trying to further hassle you in the original reply, I was trying to explain why others were being hostile in hopes you wouldn't be scared off by people being rant-y to you at random. I also didn't ask you to apologize.

There's an entire wealth of information here, like dragon horde size. We are very protective of it... When you don't put out any info about yourself connected to your account, people, especially people with honed bullshit detectors like cam girls, get suspicious. I'm not even talking verification, putting your cam sites/Twitter accounts on your profile shows you're somewhat real. Your further odd refusal to even post a link to your Twitter when asked for it pushes the bullshit meter from "maybe" to "probably".

I'd advise against RT groups and promoters though. It's not really organic growth, and it's really not the kind of traffic you want anyway. You're more likely to get bot followers than actual people. The key here is that replies and likes are infinitely more important than follower count.

Just focus on posting content regularly and engaging with followers.

Amen! I was also thinking, why would one even care to have a large following on Twitter as a cam model? If it came organically from the model's popularity it's one thing. Otherwise you are following the wrong rabbit. Don't just advertise on your Twitter, add personal tweets and people will follow. The "right" people. It's not the size that matters.
