How do I get cool banners/water marks on MFC???

Hey everyone! I am new to MFC and have been loving it!! I have seen several models with banners in the corner that say copyright ________ or has their user name and "MFC"..... I would really like to know how you put these on your broadcast!

I know some girls have had issues with the newest version of ManyCam, I haven't upgraded yet so I have version 3.1.59 -- if you can find that version, it is similar to the screenshots in the thread I linked.

If you get model status, there is some more discussion about it in some Model's Only threads, but that's a great place to start!

Also please don't put a copyright banner... it has no force of law, nobody will respect it anyways, and it'll just make you look naive.

Most models i think use a program called ManyCam, you can download it here - http://manycam.com/
I would just make sure you have MFC or myfreecams in the text, for example ModelName MFC or ModelName@MFC

** Note - when you are installing it, it will ask do you want to install a toolbar and change your homepage settings, DONT do this !

Here is a link to a screenshot i posted, showing the two boxes to untick and then the cancel button to click, ManyCam will then be installed without the toolbar and stuff

** Also to remove the manycam logo, On the Video tab, go to Text over video, and at the bottom of the window, untick the box beside the text Show ManyCam logo

To get manycam to work with the MFC software, i think you need to go into the MFC settings and tell it to broadcast the manycam video rather than your normal cam feed.

That thread was full of hate. geezz.. So much drama.. But thanks for the heads up. I want a banner so I can advertise my higher tipper for the month. I'm sure it won't be too annoying. lol

I'd use XSplit's virtual camera option. Basically, buy XSplit Broadcaster, add your camera in it (and set your resolution), and then you can add basically anything you want to your cam feed like you would when broadcasting to another service.

x split is not beginner friendly imo. id definitely go for manycam if you are just wanting the basic water marking. i dont consider myself "new" to virtual webcams or broadcasters but xsplit basic AND premium were both equally tough to get started. idk you may be better at it than i was..

It's unlisted, but feel free to share it with anyone. There might be a tiny bit of potentially identifying information in there just cuz of showing my folders, so don't make it too public.

EDIT: There's a watermark on the virtual camera unless you buy it; the program is cheap though, so it shouldn't matter.
