In my case my Username and 'First name' are the same thing but still. I simply brainstormed to find a name that sounded cute haha. I find it helpful to simply write down ideas and switch around some syllables if I'm not satisfied. For example I liked the idea of a name that had 'Luna' in it and tried different variations.
If you're looking for a first name that looks 'real' or typical, why not look through a list of ideas for baby names? If you like a certain culture, you can check out names from that country.
Also keep in mind that people love to give nicknames, so if you choose a name, try to think of the nicknames people might come out with and see if it bothers you or not haha. For example most people call me 'Luna', which I don't mind.

My hair was red and black when I rebranded a few years ago. Just seemed to work. My style is different than it used to be but I'm just too lazy to rebrand again especially since this name is working for me.

I in real life have a very strange first name so I just wasn't feeling calling myself "Sarah" or something (Nothing wrong with that name it was just too normal for a person thats has to spell her name to every single person she meets and then say "It's ok, you won't remember it anyway. I’ve recently changed my name again. I think people are pissy with me this time around for something I didn’t even realize would happen... on the site I use it’s like a new account not just a new name so they had to “find” me all over again and felt forgotten.

My first name was HoneyPott and I didn’t realize at first that it meant so many different things to different people.
I’ve gone by RawHunny. HoneyIsNaked. LustCraft. RebekahStrokes. LuckyBothwell. CookieCam. and I’m sure there are more I’m just forgetting now

I still don’t know what makes the best name but I have learned that it’s really important to brand yourself and stick with it.

The first one I made was "Daisy" shiver. It was because of erotic model Daisy De La Hoya. I always liked it. Then when I slapped it on MY persona. It made me feel so weird. I'm not a Daisy.

Then I was talking to a member and I brought up the name "Luna." I don't even feel like Luna's a good name for a human, but I don't really connect with names other than my own so it works. And it's pretty. I think it suites my image. Then I came up with Belle because I don't know I thought Luna Belle had a really good ring to it and it was pretty and shit. I tried to go with things that really meant a lot to me, while also being a little more distinctive. There are some names in the adult world that are very pretty but veeeeerry popular, so it can be harder to stand out from the crowd if you choose one of them.

Coming up with names, I thought about the hobbies/interests that meant a lot to me. Since I spent several years being a full-time art nude/fetish model, Bettie Page had always been an inspiration of mine, and I am a huge bibliophile who adores books. So Page had multiple positives for me. I decided to embrace that as my first name, which meant using Paige instead. It meant something to me on a personal level, but I also hadn't seen very many Paiges at the time, so it was a little more distinctive.

But to make it mine and mine alone, I thought adding a last name would be fun. I also really dig astronomy and I've always been a bit obsessed with mythology. Constellations combine both of these interests, as most of the constellations have a fascinating myth (or several) attached to them through multiple cultures. Orion was the constellation that I chose. since it's the only constellation I can aaaaalways find and because I used to be way obsessed with Greek mythos when I was a kidling.

Now, I am Paige Orion. That's honestly waaay more me, and feels way more natural than my birth-name, which I have barely heard in many years!

Well...with pale skin, red hair and freckles I knew I needed something Irish.

I kicked around a bunch of ideas - originally I was going to use Riley as my first name - before settling on O'Riley as the last name.

From there it was perusing baby naming books and a lot of searching porn actress databases to try to find a real-sounding name that wasn't already in use.

Pro tip: don't use a last name with an apostrophe in it. I love O'Riley - mostly because I can then use OhRiley in my handles - but it's made it hard to get it accepted in databases and websites.

I honestly didn't choose Silverthorne after brainstorming or anything, it just kinda popped in my head one day while debating entering sex work. I fell in love with it and did a quick Google search for any other models with the name or other spellings of it. Since nothing came up Silverthorne was born! Now that I've had the name for I while, I've been able to see how it connects with me. Silver is my favorite metal and, while I love gardening, roses have thorns! Or at least that what I tell myself and others when I think of how the hell I came up with it.

I made a little list with "First" and "Last" names that caught my attention, then played with combos until I liked the sound of a small handful. Then I checked on Insta, Twitter, cam sites etc to make sure it wasn't already taken or some famous celebrity (and a couple of them were celebrities, lol,apparently I'm not up on pop culture). I used a name generator to add to the list, but basically ended up making my own random name generator.

I kept mine pretty basic because since I'm just starting out I'm still figuring out my persona, so mine sounds a little sweet but still like a real person. I love all the names with cute little nicknames like Kitty or Cutie etc, but none of them felt like something I could fit into in the end.

When the form with the interrogation came up, I turned to the TV and because "Chikan" wasn't available I chose "Mila" because it was "Mila Jovovich" on the TV. I didn't win the boots. Then when I got the impulse to cam and signed up for MFC they asked for an email addy and since I had that one laying around and was too lazy to open a new one I said to myself: "eh... why not". And I am Mila to this day.
