Hiya!

After speaking to Amber today, I thought I'd drop by to introduce myself and tell you all a little bit about a Cam Model Contest I run called Miss Cam Model.

I am Miss Secret and I am a secret Cam Model. I keep my model identity hidden mainly because I wish to run my website without giving myself an advantage over other Cam Models but also for personal reasons.

I've been Cam Modelling for almost a year now and I enjoy it very much. I've met some great people and made some good friends while earning a modest living for myself. I'm by no means one of the top Cam Girls. In fact I'm probably somewhere in the middle in terms of model popularity. I've known what it's like to start from the beginning and have worked hard to creep my way up from the starter point of the ranks.

So what is this Miss Cam Model contest all about..? Well... MCM is all about providing a place for Cam Models and their fans to interact in fun way when not camming. An alternative that also helps promote Cam Models and wins them Tokens! :)

I first started the contest as a small thing on my blog/forum in January 2012. It grew very quickly thanks to the amazing Cam Models who took part and helped spread the word. Yuffie Yulan was our first Miss Cam Model of the month followed closely by Scarlet Raven and Cutie Kayla! xxx

By the end of the first month, their was so much attention and positive comments about the contest I decided to get some friends to help me expand the site so that more cam girls could take part and the voting process could be made even more fun.

While developing the new site, in time for February's contest, we teamed up with a social media company called iTokens.com who helped fund the contest.

What are iTokens I hear you say..? lol They are just an extra feature on our website so that models can also receive tips as a bonus. They are in no way a requirement for the contest. Just a fun extra :) Miss Cam Model is FREE for all!

My vision for MCM was to allow any person in the world, the ability to vote for their favourite Cam Model from any Cam Site in the world, to be Miss Cam Model of the month and winner of a 10,000 token prize!

In order to do this and make it fair for all the Cam Models, even those that heard about it later, we had to create profiles for all the girls first. We then allowed models to claim their profiles via a thorough MFC/twitter approval process. (NOTE: While most Cam Models were happy with this process, 1 or 2 did express concerns over the approval process. Those Models were given the option to have their profiles removed & we did so swiftly. Please email info@MissCamModel.com if you would also like NOT to take part in MCM).

We're now in the first week of February, launched the new site and the contest has attracted so much traffic that the fans actually brought down the web server looool It was kinda stressful answering everyone's messages about the site going down while organising a faster service to cope with all the increased web traffic lol But also amazingly flattering that so many people enjoyed the contest. I hope we can grow our community further to make it even more fun for all us Cam Models, Cam Model Fans & the Cam Sites out there!

While Miss Cam Model is now sponsored by iTokens.com, it is still run personally by myself (& friends x), just a cam girl in this world trying to have some fun!

I care very much for the Cam Models and the Cam Girl Fans so if you are unhappy in anyway about something on my site, I honestly didn't mean to offend. Please feel free to email me at info@MissCamModel.com and I will personally get back to you :)

Yours truly,

Miss Secret

So how does it work..?
Vote once per day for your favourite Cam Girl from any Cam Site to be Miss Cam Model of the month 2012

What are the prize's...?

I wanted to say thank you for coming here and explaining what your site was all about! It was brought to my attention by a very good regular/friend of mine and I did not have a lot of time to research it so I came here to what I like to consider my forum family and asked them what it was all about. Many of us had found our profiles there and were a little concerned about what was going on.

I did ask you to remove my profile and from what I can tell it was done almost immediately! Thank you very much for that. Now that I know what is going on and when I have some time I may look into your site and actually join myself. It was just a concern that I had a profile that I new nothing about.

From what I have looked at your site looks great and I will look forward to browsing around and learning more soon! Best of luck to you sweetie!

Something I am wondering, what happens if the members on the site put iTokens toward a girl who has not claimed their account?
I would also like to thank you for removing my profile when I asked you to do so.
The only issue that I see so far, is that you are using people's names and images without their permission. Some girls might not feature themselves outside of a particular, region blocked site. While its likely that someone may get found out, there are those who try to postpone that from happening as long as possible.
Perhaps with the proper promotion, you could have people make nominations, instead of just making a profile without the knowledge of the models. Personally, I would have at least appreciated an MFC mail or email to let me know/ask.

Below is some info about iTokens. The contest is sponsored by iTokens.com

Note: iTokens are a bonus feature and are not a requirement for the contest. The contest is FREE for all.

What are iTokens?
iTokens are a virtual gift just like MFC tokens but worth a little more. iTokens.com provides an independent Token platform allowing Cam Models to accept Token tip-donations independently from a Cam Site to use as an optional extra to their usual Cam Site.

Are they the same as MFC Tokens?
No. iTokens are worth slightly more and cost slightly less to buy.
They can be traded at iTokens.com & MissCamModel.com

How much do Cam Models get from iTokens?
Models get 6 cents ($0.06) per Token which is a 75% payout as apposed to the 40-50% payout from other websites. The rest of the percentage goes towards the transaction fees and the service fees.

How much do iTokens cost to buy?
iTokens cost 8 cents ($0.08) per Token.

What happens to Tokens sent to unclaimed Model profiles?
You can not send Tokens to unclaimed model profiles.
The 'Send Tokens' button will only appear on profiles where the models have full access.
We do not collect Tokens on behalf of models that do not have access to their own account.

I understand that point completely as I myself block a particular region.

At present we have turned off the ability to search the unclaimed profiles until we have come up with a better way.

They currently can NOT be searched for.

BTW

One of the cool things we can do with the iTokens platform on the site is offer an extra Bonus Prize for the top 20 models of the contest.

A few members of the site have contacted me about doing this so that more Cam Models can win prizes. They have suggested that they would love to donate monthly tokens towards a Bonus Prize so that the top 20 models could also win something too.

In addition to the main Top 3 prizes that we are already giving (10,000, 5,000 & 1000 tokens), adding a Bonus Prize, tokens donated by fans, could make it even for fun for everyone :)

Something like this. Lets say by the end of the month there are 3000 tokens donated to the Bonus Prize.
They could be split like so...

1st place = 8% of bonus prize + Main prize
2nd place = 8% of bonus prize + Main prize
3rd place = 8% of bonus prize + Main prize
4th place = 7% of bonus prize
5th place = 7% of bonus prize
6th place = 7% of bonus prize
7th place = 5% of bonus prize
8th place = 5% of bonus prize
9th place = 5% of bonus prize
10th place = 5% of bonus prize
11th place = 4% of bonus prize
12th place = 4% of bonus prize
13th place = 4% of bonus prize
14th place = 4% of bonus prize
15th place = 4% of bonus prize
16th place = 3% of bonus prize
17th place = 3% of bonus prize
18th place = 3% of bonus prize
19th place = 3% of bonus prize
20th place = 3% of bonus prize

This is a pretty interesting and neat idea. The site popping up with random models (the unclaimed accounts) was a bit off putting, but you obviously know what you're doing and I could see this turning into a pretty popular thing with cam models. Rock on! :thumbleft:

Thanks Frankie! xx

We've actually made a lot of new updates today in regards to way people can vote for Models that don't know about the contest/websites yet.

The unclaimed profiles no-longer exist. We removed the photos and profile info (website, camsite, links etc) and just left a model name so that their fans can still vote for them as their favourite Model of the month 'from any cam site'.

New Cam Models can now sign-up for a new account or choose to set-up up an account with possible existing votes (a lot of Models like this feature).

I hope this resolution suits the few Models that were concerned about the profiles. It also solves the issue of photo's appearing in region blocked areas. As an new feature, region blocking in general, is something we are working on too :)

I took this to be a sneaky way for guys to pay models using Paypal. Still a little risky to accept money into a Paypal account, even via MCM.

And like we don't all stress about camscores enough, now we can fret about being bottom of the list on yet another site...but hey...I'm all for a little distraction....bring it on!! ;)

Hi Rebecca. The tokens feature is just an extra for models that want to use it. There are some, non-MFC, cam models that welcome an independent token platform for receiving and monitoring live tips while doing skype shows etc. Normal Paypal payments have their restrictions while tokens are fun, limitless & social.

Additionally, sometime next week I believe iTokens.com will be adding a direct bank transfer option for models that wish to exchange tokens into money that way.

This is not our main focus though. Miss Cam Model is a fun contest & social network for the cam community first :)
All other features on our website are just tools that MCM members can have at their disposal if they chose to.

Just wondering if you might have to option to post more pictures on the site, or even videos in the future. The site I broadcast on does not have anywhere to keep my content and I thought that with the itokens it might be a coll place to sell a few things.

Anyway I just thought that it might be cool :p

This itokens site can not be legitimate, beware. 25% for what? I respect your intuitive in wanting to allocate prize money to models, so you can get traffic to your website, but the choice of sponsor was probably a mistake. What happens when paypal locks up the account for funding adult content? Do the models still get paid, do the members still have access to refunds? 25% for a paypal middleman is laughable. Especially when amazon gift cards can be sent through email at full value.

Hi BootyEyes!

We are very happy with our sponsor. Tokens are optional anyway. You don't have to ever touch iTokens if you do not wish too. I'm more than happy with a 75% payout for my tokens if the service brings me more tokens. 75% of lots is way better than 100% of nothing lol.
And my current Cam Site only pays me 50% for my tokens so I'm happy with iTokens. Paypal isn't funding adult content hun because iTokens is not an adult service. Also, from next week, Epoch will be an added payment option for those that don't like Paypal. Plus the top-3 winners can chose MFC tokens if they like. It's completely their choice.

Anyway it's not about tokens. MCM is FREE to take part & FREE to vote :)

Just a fun website if you want it to be. Your more than welcome to come check it out xXx

ChipIn isn't an adult service but plenty of models have lost their paypal accounts because they had ChipIn links on their MFC profiles, websites, blogs etc

Hiya!

Just a quick update to let you all know that Tokens can now be bought on MissCamModel.com directly (without paypal).

Cam Models also now have 4 choices for payment:

Bank Cheque,
Bank Wire Transfer,
Payoneer &
Paypal.

These new features are also included on the iTokens.com website too.

Today we have added a great new feature for the Miss Cam Model contest.

In addition to the Top 3 Model prizes there is now also a bonus prize for the Top-20 Models :)

The bonus prize is an additional prize made up from Tokens donated by our kind members.

Anyone can contribute by donating some of their Tokens to the bonus prize total.
