I'm a long time visitor of Chaturbate (non-broadcaster) and have always been happy with the website.
Last weekend I was suddenly banned while in a private conversation with a model (not going to mention her name to respect her privacy and the rules). As soon as the ban happened I realized what I did wrong and I felt really dumb and stupid I hadn't anticipated it.
With this model I regularly chat in private and have private sessions. We often just listen to music together, taking turns choosing a song. I wanted to tell her about my cousin. Me and my cousin were best friends since early childhood untill he passed away some years ago. I wanted to explain to her how happy it made me feel to listen to music with her and taking turns choosing songs, because I always did that with my cousin. So I wanted to share the story about our friendship, how we grew up together et cetera. I sent her two photographs in the private conversation and I sent a chat message with something like the following text (I don't recall the exact words):
"In the photo where we were young, about 3 or 4 years old, was at my house and the one where we were adults of 35 and 36 years old was with Halloween in a theme park a couple of months before he passed. Allthough he never accepted or acknowledged the fact he was going to pass away, one of his wishes was to be in a theme park again and ride a rollercoaster and carrousel for one last time.."
At that moment the ban happened and I immediatly realized what I did wrong. I think I got banned automatically by a bot or algoritm because I mentioned the young ages and shared the photo where my cousin and I were young (yeah I know stupid stupid stupid). Maybe the model reported me because I violated the rules, which I would understand because, allthough unintentionally, I technically was breaking site rules.
I think I was just a little too enthousiastic and impulsive. I miss my cousin very much, it was one of the worst experiences in my life when he got ill and passed away and it will never stop breaking my heart. I am just so fucking proud of having been friends with him so long and felt so incredibly happy to do something with someone I always did with him (taking turns choosing music to listen to) that I just wanted to share that feeling and I just didn't realize at that moment I was breaking the rules.
I e-mailed Chaturbate support but they haven't responded yet. Last time I reached out to them for an issue they responded fairly quickly and were very helpful and now it's been almost a week without any reply except for the standard receipt conformation e-mail.
I am a long time visitor of the site and it helps me very much with my loneliness. I am a loyal regular visitor (thousands of dollars annually) and I also still have a couple of thousand tokens in my account.
But that isn't even my greatest concern. I don't even care about the tokens. In the years I made some great connections with some of the models (yes I realize I pay them for their time) and I really think some of them will be worried about why I haven't been online in almost a week. Two of them already reached out through social media because they were worried but I don't have all the friendships on social media.
I always try to be as respectful as possible with the models and as soon as I see a sign of the model being uncomfortable I urge them to take their time and focus on their own wellbeing. I like to be dominant sometimes but I encourage them to set their boundaries and also have never asked anything that's not permitted on the site.
I know I technically broke the rules but it really was a stupid impulsive action out of emotion with no ill intent whatsoever.
I don't know what to do. I'm afraid to send another message because maybe I will be set back at the end of the line.
After a search I stumbled on this forum and found this section. I really hope someone, maybe @AmberCutie or @punker barbie can help me.
