gothic or dark country, unbelievable I know but trust me it not bad. think jonny cash the man in black years ( 1966 to 1976 ish). noted for guitar riffs banjos and mandolins. little or simple drums and bass.. for the most part acoustic. most have a folk feeling. subject matter most common is running from the devil, law or fate.
