I have really blonde eyelashes so I use either Mary Kay or CoverGirl exact eyelights in sapphire-black. :) They're the only two I've found that don't irritate my eyes, flake or rub off.

Benefit "They're real" I am obsessed with eyelashes and mascara. Benefit makes a great product that holds up for long hours. I did love covergirl lash blast but after a few hours of wear would chip away and flake into my eyes.

Bare essentials flawless definition- my second fav :)

LOLZ

This isn't really so much a mascara brand suggestion but just a tip I learned... I think maybe from Kandee Johnson (and if you haven't watched her on youtube you gotta check her out).

Typically, waterproof formulas clump more easily and just don't go on as well as the non-waterproof formulas. So instead, you can start off with a normal mascara and then just add a coat of the waterproof formula afterward.

I tried this at the beach last year and it worked for me and my lashes looked much better than when I use waterproof only!

I use Rimmel The Max Volume Flash mascara. I sadly buy cheapie makeup and this has been my favorite mascara for over a year (I have tried others). The wand isn't spectacular, but you can bend it into a spoon shape by pushing it against the edge of the tube when you are taking it out. That's another trick I believe I learned from Kandee Johnson. :-D

As far as high end mascaras Make up forever Smokey lash is really good. Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effet Faux Cils is the BEST MASCARA I've ever used, but it's 30 dollars :icon-cry:

On the lower end Define a Lash by maybelline (sp) is the best in my opinion.

I try so many different mascaras because I'm absolutely obsessed with eyelashes. I already have long lashes so I try to find something that just makes them stand out, thicker and longer all together. The best brand I've found is The Falsies by Maybelline. Get the waterproof flare kind. :) Everyone asks if my eyelashes are fake so I think it's pretty amazing. Hah.

I loved The Falsies too! I couldn't remember the name of it! The Rimmel that I use now is pretty similar and seems to last me longer.

I know you said you already purchased a new kind of mascara, and I am curious as to what you think about it, bc I have thought about trying the Benefit mascara myself. Just wanted to give my input as well thought (in case you don't like the Benefit mascara)... I love The Falsies by Maybelline as well! Discovered the "flared" kind recently and love how my lashes look afterwards! My second fac is Mary Kay mascara (curls and thickens).

I like the benefit mascara :)
Also I find that too much product comes out on the brush so I need to wip it on the bottle a couple times. And its really hard to get off! My make-up remover could strip paint but this mascara is cemented on there.

I use the Mary Kay stuff and it's awesome. Cried on the way home from school today and it didn't run in my eyes to keep me from driving. :) Lol silly thing to be happy about but I was. It holds up and looks good.

the benefit one is awesome. unfortunately i cant buy it anymore because i found out benefit animal tests on unfinished products but its sad because benefit has the best eyeliner and mascara ive ever tried
another one id suggest is buxom lash! i love that stuff.

Dammit. Don't think I'll be buying another tube then.

I just ordered L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara, Blackest Black, and hope it flakes less than what I usually use which is
Maybelline Collosal Volume Express. I glob it on pretty thick. My eyes are pretty sensitive and the little chunks/flakes always find their way into my eyeballs. My lashes are really thin/light and I like to make them look thick and lush with a really dark black. Thickness is more important for me than length.
