I can't stand when guys do that shit, let alone if a girl did it. The not taking no for an answer is the part that pisses me off. You're not a fucking car salesman, so leave me the hell alone! ARGH.

Maybe I am just a freak, I dunno.

I wonder what I'm doing wrong. Step 1, check. Step 2, no....?

My thought while watching that was, if I did the exact same things as that chick, I'd be in danger of getting pepper sprayed. Or at least I hope I would be.

Did you see the other clips that they made?

One is a girl asking random guys if they would have sex with her. Another is a guy doing the same thing, asking girls if they would have sex with him. Pretty interesting!

This was purposely done in public, in an open area, in full daylight, so that it would be as nonthreatening as possible. I'm curious. How often do guys you have never met come up to you on the sidewalk, in front of a whole bunch of people and proposition you?

I really hate when gay/bisexual people try to push it onto other people. I think it kind of gives us a bad name. Going up and asking is totally okay, but pushing it ("I could make you," "Have you ever tried?" etc) is shitty. Just like if a guy pushed it after a girl said no, it wouldn't be okay, and it makes girls wary of guys, too. Nobody likes to feel cornered.

In my experience, on college campuses it happens a LOT. Not that often otherwise.

We had a guy at work when I was much younger wopuld would do that. This was back in the 80s. Considering that he looked like a younger perttier verion of Johnny Depp and sounded like Tom Waites, I don't think his 40% strike rate when asking random girls in the pub for sex was that unreasonable.

It's not really about being approached in the first place. Being propositioned is usually fine-- I don't mind it at all, of course it's flattering. It's when they won't take "no" for an answer that it gets creepy and bad. Even when it's in a "nonthreatening" environment, someone being pushy is an immediate red flag. If you won't take no for an answer now, what else will you try to bully me into?

All the time. Also, at the bus stop, on the bus, in the grocery store, at the gas station.....
Guys in my area will hit on anything with tits, and then get SUPER offended when you turn them down. It's not so much a problem for me, as I never leave the house, but my sister can't go anywhere without having trouble. I may suggest she starts telling them she has a dick, guys seem to not like that for some reason.

I would feel a little creeped out being approached by a stranger, no matter their chosen gender, and asked out on a date purely because they think I'm hot. Sometimes it's flattering, but generally only if it's something like "hey you look cool and i want to get to know you. wanna hang out sometime?" Being asked straight up on a date is a little much for someone i literally just met.

I think it's really interesting how many of the women feel the need to apologize for not being interested, or having a boyfriend. Wasn't there a study about how women tend to auto-apologize for awkward social interaction, or anytime we felt someone might be upset or hurt emotionally? So instead of saying Fuck Off, we say Sorry. >Found it!<

Being that pushy on the street is a major red flag. Anyone who wouldn't take a no on something as simple as a date or my phone number, surely couldn't be trusted in a sexual situation to not be pushy. If you can't respect my word, how could I possibly trust you with my body? Reeks of "come on bby, just trryyyyyy."

Although I do think it's funny how many were all, "well I'm into guys but... why not." Hehehe, slightly hetero-flexible? bi-curious? Actual lesbians?

That's totally me. Though I'm pretty shy one on one and guys tend to think I'm a snob so maybe I try to overcompensate for that :S
