Man... Maybe I'm running low on mean juice lately but damn... I'm not so sure this guy deserved the negative reply he got.

We all complain about pirating, and how annoying it is when our names are not included at least so people can find us, and then jump down the throat of somebody who is actually just trying to find a girl that he likes.
I didn't catch a single word that made it sound like he intended on just freeloading her.

I have met a handful of WONDERFUL members who I would be super sad to not know, that found me and cam sites in general from pirated content of me.
Every once in a while, it doesn't hurt to give someone the benefit of the doubt.

Well, I was kinda sorta giving him the benefit of the doubt until his post:

As if he is the poor innocent guy being taken advantage of instead of the model who's content he paid another site for. I found at least 5 sites with links to that vid he showed the image from and they're all pay sites for speedy downloads.

If he had initially come in and stated his intentions were honorable instead of asking a site run by models to help him find out who he just pirated content from, he wouldn't have been treated the way he was.

I just gotta say that, the people who MAKE money off our pirated content are slime... the people who pay for our pirated content are likely just confused or don't know better... if they were willing to pay for a pirated download why wouldn't they be willing to pay for tokens?
They are already starting the process in the 'willing to pay' ring... they just paid the wrong person but not necessarily maliciously. Something to keep in mind.

This is very true. To be fair I think most people who download things know they're doing so illegally and that it's wrong, but today's society and the way the internet is means it's just too easy to do so. Porn has become a big one that the majority of people seem to feel it's weird, stupid and even sad to pay for porn, even though those same people are frequent users of porn, they know it's easier, less traceable and less embarrassing to get free porn than it is to pay for porn. So though I think almost anyone downloading anything, whether it's porn, music or movies, do know better, it's also very easy to ignore that and simply take. You feel like you're just one person and it won't harm anyone.

The reason the post made me sad was just the vibe the member was giving. He started by being very interested in her doing cum shows, saying he's in love, giving a bit of a weird vibe, then he says he was joking and he isn't actually in love. He then says finding her doesn't matter if she doesn't do any more shows. Now this could mean he's misunderstood and thought that she had quit camming, but it seemed pretty clear that the girls were talking about cumshows. In fact he even mentioned cumshows in a previous post which leads me to believe he was looking to watch a show in free chat. And yes sure, lots of members do this and lots of tipping members also do this, but the large majority of members doing this will never tip the model. Then he comes back and says he found the girl, and rather than mentioning that he did go and tip her he mentions that she does do cumshows with a smiley face. The previous post to that was actually quite polite, but the last one just gave me the impression he was gloating about how he got to watch a free show in the end.

Maybe that's completely not what happened, I was just going by what I read in the posts which gave me an off vibe. Maybe in this case he has been misunderstood, but what makes me sad is that even if this particular guy isn't like this, the majority of members on myfreecams are this way. I like living in my myfreecams bubble where most of my interactions come from 5% of the room and I only get close to/have private conversations with under 0.1% or some ridiculously small figure of members who visit me. I have occasionally been made aware of what arseholes some of the members who've been silent lurkers in my room for a long time are. It is depressing and something I don't really like thinking about or being made too aware of. So even if this isn't the case here, as this isn't anything personal to the OP, it's the situation that this thread brought to light that makes me feel sad.

I can understand that but sometimes we really need to stop, ask ourselves "am I reading between the lines or creating my own scenario?" before tearing a fella to shreds making him feel like he's so unwelcome. He could be a really wonderful guy, and just like the "models we can't help but crush on/have great tits/beautiful eyes" threads, needing to exclaim "I tipped her" in order to avoid being eaten alive seems kind of silly to me.

I dunno. I can totally get behind wanting to know where the caps came from to help the girl remove them, and especially since he kindly obliged Lolli's request for it... playing the neener neener 'we wont tell you' game just seemed so rude and uncalled for.

His call from not being judged was pretty reasonable in my opinion, as Isabella just pointed out, she completely judged him based on what others have done and not directly his actions. He was pretty damn entitled to feel wrongly judged and poorly treated.

At least let someone be a jerk before treating them like a jerk is all I'm saying.

I've actually had more than one tipper find me on Motherless, which is probably one of the worst sites ever.
I don't watermark my video either, so I can't even imagine how they've gone about finding me if my name wasn't listed anywhere.

Tbh, I wouldn't mind if someone found me this way even if they don't intend on tipping me. At worst, they're another random name in my chatroom that never says anything or tips, just like 95% of the rest of MFCs population, and at best they're adding +1 to my room count.
Then again, I don't do public shows really so maybe its different for me.
