"Fog" Growing on MFC?

I got really sick of people coming in and not talking, except in PM... So, I said "to hell with it". I set my PM to "Friend's Only", and started individually messaging the Premiums who jumped in/out of my room individually to stick around.

I'd normally just leave a friendly message saying "Hey! Come in, relax, crack open a beer, request a song and check out some bouncing boobies!! " -- I've got several people to stay & tip this way, and tipped without having to do any public "play" shows... just dancing around like a naked raving Carlton to whatever people wanted me to dance to.

I charge 50 tokens per request, each song they get a booby jiggle... if they want my pants off for the song, they need to tip extra.

It's been a loooot of work, but I managed to finally start increasing my camscore this way. A lot of people end up hearing new music they like and have tipped extra for it, but yeah...

When I didn't do this, even when I was talking, I found so many people jump in to the chatroom with the sound on "mute" already, so they'd never hear me say "Hi!", and before I realised it, they were already gone by the time I'd type to them. Nobody was talking, nobody stuck around, and nobody tipped at all. My room would be flooded with basics going "show pussy bb", "bb skype bb", "bb hru qt bb", "bb watch cam i finger my bum 4 u bb", etc... But when I send messages to premiums to keep them in, they have started outnumbering the basics to the point where some basics have started buying tokens to pitch in. Then, of course, once the other premiums "jump in" and they see some big ol' titties bouncing on the screen, they're more likely to stick around and see what the heck is going on.

I don't know if other girls do this already, but hopefully it works out for some new girls here.

I agree. Of course, I always want to make everyone happy and honestly this seems like the best way. I think this will become my new policy. Or maybe start a weekly countdown. Here's how I know something is really wrong on MFC-

There's a 3 girl show going on right now. The 3 girls all fairly well known porn models. Yes, the video isn't that good. But no one is tipping and there's more viewers in the ASIAN LOUNGE than watching one of those girls get fucked with a strap on.

There is a question of whether it's a live feed or recorded, though. I'm thinking it could be recorded.

I've only been here for a couple of months, but it definitely seems a lot slower recently. I spent time in a couple of rooms over the course of the evening. In one room, not only was I the only one tipping but I was the only one talking. I also know that I can logout and watch enough free shows to keep me constantly entertained for 8 to 10 hours if I want. But honestly, I don't want to.... I like supporting my faves. My faves know that I like supporting them. But yes, although the free shows are very good and hot and I do like them, are there too many going on? I know asking for changes at MFC is nuts, but would it be a possible thought to do group shows differently and let the model invite anyone on the chat list who tipped over X amount of tokens during her time in public to come in and watch for 5-10 minutes for free? For example, if you tipped 100 tokens during public chat, you get 10 minutes of group time. Basically, you are just prepaying your time in group. That way, the show goes on, the girl gets off, the girl still gets tips.... maybe a win/win?

Also, maybe it's time to set a 5 token tip on emotes in chat, too. I've been on several nights where 80% of the "conversation" is just pictures. I love emotes, and they're really fun in moderation. But let's chat, y'all.....

I do not want to join streammate, I have heard they have great traffic but they sell your/models recorded videos as part of a membership to streammate for $7.99 and if you add them to your email list they will give you a week free access to videos.To me this is wrong...to sell models video's without profit to them.Also streammate only gives a 35% pay out and 40% if people get a show through your special link.This seems like a very unfair percentage to me.

I also found a site stealing my videos and they/the tag lead to streammate making people think I work there...to me that is shady as well = /

Secondly, I wholeheartedly agree about there being too many free shows. I was shocked when I first visited the lounge where at any given moment, you can be linked to and click on a public show going on.

I miss the old MFC, but the bottom line is that it's a business. You either adapt and adjust or fall by the wayside. It's the brutal truth, unfortunately. There will always be competition trying to undercut or sell for less what it is you are selling to make the rent...

There have been absolutely gorgeous women totally fail at camming, while others not so beautiful exceed bountifully. The equations for success are as varied as the women, it's up to you to make it work.

My room rules are always either talk, or tip. && I always explain that when I say tip, I don't mean make it fucking rain or drop 100 token tips. I don't give a shit if it's 5 tokens, or 10. I just want you to contribute by participating in some form, OTHER than posting dumbass emoticons every 15 seconds or some reworded form of damn, wow, holy shit, nice ass, pretty tits, etc every minute. Indeed, after the admins have messed with the CamScore for the millionth time and cut everyone down by nearly half - "crickets" in terms of tokens is right on. MFC guys are definitely changing and I'm not sure why. It used to be that everyone was too happy to contribute to a countdown and get the show started but recently no matter the amount of the countdown - it can be as low as 200! - and even people with tokens sitting in my room are not contributing.

Basically I think it boils down to lying models. Recently I have had the displeasure of working with a few people who are basically a mix of a vendor in a busy Egyptian market and a auctioneer - "20, 20, do I hear 25? 30, 30, do I hear 45?" - and when the countdown was finally done, THEY DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT TO START A SHOW! They sat there for at least another half-hour basically requiring more and more outrageous tips before doing anything. (but hey, apparently it's working )

I was very disappointed with their behavior and it's difficult not to blame the recent fog on girls like that. When I do a countdown, not only do I make sure to reward each tip with some fleshy fun but as soon as the amount is reached - I jump into the show! On the other hand, both of the other girls have a CamScore that's the size of the Eiffel Tower so it seems to me that being a dishonest heckler is WHAT GETS YOU TIPS ON MFC! Question is, people have to sign up for a group show so how do I make that happen? I can't exactly make them click on the group so what do I do if people don't want to go group?

The reason for all the freeloaders is because of all the public shows. If they were more rare a commodity they would be worth more on the MFC market. I have only done a couple of public shows but no more.
