I was wondering if anyone has played Final Fantasy 14 and what their opinions of the game are.

i was in on the closed beta there was a lot of problems with the controls and the camera angels so i ended up not going into the live game but from what i could see of the game it looked nice. I read some where i think that one of the graphic of tech ppl from Aion left and went to FF 14.

I played FFXI and didn't care for it at all, so I'm giving XIV a pass.

I've heard from a few beta testers that everything about the game is very counter-intuitive. But the trailer makes me pop over 9000 boners:

Omg I'm a huge fan of final fantasy that trailer is awesome and I have heard there are a lot of bugs in the game atm but square will have many updates.

P.S. I used to play on Gilgamesh as Mealymouthed in FFXI 75 DNC BLM PLD SAM and numerous subs.

One thing very important to MMOs is the longevity. Square is not showing much promise in this area. Everquest is still going (who knew), WoW is still heavily supported, a new Star Wars (which would last for 3 weeks and people would still buy the next one).
