Hmm. Interesting. Well, while anec-data isn't hard science, all I know is that when I've squirted, it does not smell like urine at all. There's definitely some stimulation of the urethral sponge going on (for me, "some" equals pounding away at the g-spot area), and I always have to go to the bathroom to urinate after squirting. And it's *a lot*.

Now, if squirt was pee, or even mostly pee, I'm not so sure I'd have it in me, so to speak, to use the restroom afterwards. I've never managed to pee "just a little"; that's an all-or-nothing endeavor.

about a year ago I learned to squirt. it doesn't happen all the time and it requires a very specific technique. wondering if it's pee, I did do a bit of testing....

it smells different. yes, I collected a sample of my pee and compared odors.

I've emptied my bladder before making myself squirt, and it didn't affect the amount or my ability to squirt.

I don't know exactly what's happening, but it comes out differently than pee and really isn't the same thing. and even if it is pee, I don't care. when I'm really, really horny, squirt orgasms are so fulfilling. and if I'm really, really, REALLY horny, I'm going to squirt when I cum even if I don't use the specific technique.

Seems a little silly for scientists to use a few bazillion dollars worth of equipment when all they need to do is analyze the liquid itself. A link in the article that Bob linked to quotes from Wikipedia:

I've never squirted, I've come close (heh heh heh ) but those times I think something was always kind of in the way to prevent the long distance action, hand,clothing, device, person, etc. more of a little gush action.

That said, without the squirting act I've produced a significant amount of lady lube. enough to create large "Wet spots" or puddles or even have soaked through layers of clothing.
