I really want Craig Ferguson to take over, he deserves it! Although I am afraid his humor might be too niche for the Late Show audiences. He may also like the lower profile the Late Late Show gives him. What do you think?

Is Craig Ferguson the Scottish guy? I don't watch American chat shows but Alan Carr is an English comic who does a really good chat show on Friday night here.

Ferguson's even too weird for me :lol:
Conan has experience at that hour, and his style is already fairly similar to Letterman's in a lot of ways. I think he'd be a much better fit than Ferguson.

I'm totally Team Coco tho. So my opinion may be a little bias

Yep, Craig is the Scottish one. He's dreamy! I have such a big crush on him! I got to see him do live standup once and he was absolutely hilarious. Did anyone catch him hosting The Price is Right on April Fool's Day? He and Drew Carey traded jobs for the day, it was truly inspired! He replaced the models with Geoff the robot skeleton and Secretariat the horse. A lot of old people were confused that day!

I'm a big fan of Craigy Fergs and his gay robot sidekick. I like his humor, but what gets me about him is that he's a really great interviewer. The best of any talk show host, I think. He always seems to bring out the best in his guests. For that reason, I think he'd do fine hosting the Late Show. But I honestly think the Late Late Show is where he shines best, and I hope he stays put.

I read somewhere (not sure if it is true) that Ferguson has a clause in his contract that says he takes Letterman's spot if he retires. I hope that is true as I think Craig has the best show on Late Night.
