Is there a site that's better suited for Ebony models to make money? There literally aren't enough regulars for us to all eat. If one more popular model logs on, you know because your room will literally empty out despite all of your regulars being online. I'm running out of ideas for how to combat this involuntary category that i fall into.

i see an MFC link in ur sig so i'll assume thats ur primary site.

mfc in general is pretty cut throat when it comes to the competition of it. you arent the only girl experiencing lower room counts and stuff on nights when there are a lot of girls on. i couldnt make MFC work for me [less than 600 CS at all times pretty much] so i tried different sites and found one that worked for me. im mixed but really light so im pretty much am assumed to be white or latina most of the time. i never thought about race having and effect on things but after ive gotten to know more cam girls who are ebony models and who do fall into that category i have heard that being a struggle on more than one occasion.

do you mean regs u share with other ebony models on the site? if so, thats going to be something that you experience on all sites. i was tagged as BBW on MFC and noticed i shared a lot of regulars with girls on there and im in the BBW category on streamate and share regs with girls there too. thats just going to be something that happens i guess. maybe just try out some other sites, see if you notice a difference in the flow of things, and decide for yourself. there are successful ebony models on a lot of the popular sites but i guess it just depends on what your measure of that would be. marleygotboobs, kenya golden, and a few others do pretty well on chaturbate i think. you could try that out.

i guess to answer your question - there isnt one site that i personally think is better or worse for you as an ebony model.

I did ok on MFC but wasn'tcconsistent enough tp develop a following I felt likeit was harder for me bbeingan ebony model but it really boiled ddown to my work ethic & unrealistic expectations. Some girls it takes months even years to buildup a ffollowing & some girls even shorter but if you like MFC I say push through it you can do it there is no other site like MFC. Im mainly on streamate now & there are lots of days i miss MFC & hpw social it can be. I don't know how much time you have to invest but you could try cammimg on two sites some girls do that to make better money & it does help I did it for awhile before switching to streamate. I wish you the best.

There are already so many pressing complaints and hold backs when it comes to being a cam model that worrying about what color you are is so tedious. Don't even think about it. If you are online being yourself, being engaging, being sexy and fun the guys won't even care about your color. Camming is so open and forgiving to SO many people, there's someone out there for everyone! One thing that has led to my success in any aspect is not dwelling on certain things society might say. If you don't want people to see color, you shouldn't either. I have SO many guys tell me they've never been with a black girl, never seen a black cam girl they like, never were interested, etc. but the fact that I have an awesome personality, sexy, whatever, it doesn't have an effect whatsoever. And they turn into regulars! Not saying there aren't guys who dislike black girls, everyone has their preferences of course, but you are not going to do well thinking negatively like that. The statement about a popular girl getting online or something along those lines- no more of that, it does not help. Don't even look at who else is online, just do YOUR best, be YOURSELF, and don't over think why people aren't in your room. Think of what you can do differently to get people in your room, don't blame it on color. Put in time because that's going to be your best key to success. Putting in time and staying positive :)

I noticed this, too. Alot of ebony girl don't seem to make the top 10 or whatever on chaturbate. It's really strange to me... :twocents-02cents:

I have been trying very much to find ebony models for my site, I often prefer ebony models but sadly there is a huge lack of them in the adult biz in general. If you want to join up you are more than welcome! I can't promise you'll make more than the other girls but we'd still love to have you.

I agree that if you just be yourself while on cam the color isn't an issue. And that MFC has a lot to do with luck as well as other factors. You really have to just get those few guys who really like something about you and be able to engage with them. A lot of people tend to stereotype too unfortunately.

But I did pretty well on MFC. Sadly I haven't been on there in a bit but I definitely plan on going back once I am in a different living situation. For now I am focusing more on clip sites. But I never had a problem with guys leaving my room randomly and I had 3-5 regulars that would be in my room every night I was on, even though I wasn't too consistent. I felt like I was doing good only because I was on there for about 2 months and had those consistent tippers, but I felt like I was an unreliable model so I stopped for now. I wouldn't stop trying to cam in general though even if it happens on other sites, just keep trying and it will pay off!

I totally agree with this. I have not been camming long and by no means am a professional at giving out camming advice, however, I have noticed that if you allow things like that cloud your mind then they do become an issue. I have had extremely good days on MFC and streamate and some not so good. I too have had guys come into my room and say they have never been with or shared a private show with an ebony woman until me. In the same day I have had someone come in my room and say, "well you know its Thursday on MFC, the white girls are killing it, you might as well sign out; take the night off "(true story). I don't allow that sort of negativity bother me. I try to put in as much time and continue to perfect my craft. You are a beautiful woman and I'm sure you know that :-D . Capitalize on being someone's fantasy as I'm sure you already know that too. Also remember this is a number's game be consistent and just try to put in as many hours as you can ;)

11 years of being a cam model and my skin colour never an issue. I know when I am on cams.com I am more a professional looking model based on my room set up and cam compared to the other models on the site because majority of them are in studios in Columbia or some other south African country.

When I am on streamate I know there are more ebony models on there but it doesn't really stop me from making money. when it boils down to basics. having the right equipment, lighting and personality. right now I think what is holding me back is having a slow computer and not putting in the hours to be on cam to build a solid regular fan base and a hustle where I know I can make $100 a day without blinking an eye. For me camming is not as enjoyable as it use to be so getting online for me is a little bit of a drag.

Yea I know sex work culture kinda deems us as the unattractive non marketable race. but I honestly only experience that when I am escorting or trying to work in a strip club or massage parlour.

Amateur porn and camming that is a whole different story when you are really appreciated more by your fans and not so much by some company telling you oh hun we have too many black girls we don't know if we can get you business.

I've felt that way some days but sometimes things just slow down... Sometimes your lighting is weird or maybe ppl don't liek what ya have on. It could be the time of the month where all their bills are do so they have to wait to spend money. I guess there could be a bunch of reasons why things are slow sometimes. You fix what you can at your own pace and try to stay positive and things usually work out, though sometimes no matter how engaging you are ppl can be on hush mode too. Thankfully those days don't last forever :)
